I am grateful for the financial help I receive but as I am playing by the rules, I should not have to feel guilty about it. I do not expect political parties to change societal ignorance (ie about the unemployed) but I would at least expect them not to capitalise on it. On this issue, the Lib Dems have my support.

Though im not comfortable with the party in other topics, Jenny Willott is fundamentally right. The Conservatives and Labour are using language which equates those claiming JSA to criminals. Being in the position myself I completely accept the obligations that come with it but both named parties appear to be endorsing red top press populism by stigmatising language of people in my position. The Tories particularly seem to be ignorant of the position of the unemployed, apparently failing cont;

very good point. just because you dont get payed for your job doesnt mean you dont work hard.
however, there should be surveys to make sure you actually ARE busy, not justlying in your own sweat eating waffles and watching telly.
