i'm taking care of my tecthers pet milliped he has in class, and it was in very poor health. it has some kind of bugs on it, they look like little spiders, do you know what they are, and are they good or bad for the millipede? please let me know if you know thank you.

The mites don't hurt them if there aren't very many, but you can pretty easily pick them off. Get a q-tip with a little vaseline jelly on the tip and use it to dab the mites away. Just be sure not to use too much vaseline, because you don't want to get it all over the millipede.

Millipedes are herbivores, and they can't bite humans. If they feel threatened, they'll curl into a coil shape, and possibly emit an irritating secretion, but no, they're not dangerous.

I have a horrible insect phobia, but I think they're kind of cute :D

Centipedes are poisonous. Millipedes do secrete a "poison", but it doesn't hurt and is harmless to humans, although as with any animals that may secrete on you, you want to wash your hands afterwards.

I put it in a plastic case made for reptiles. It's usually a lot more shy than in the video. I'm not sure how long she is. Maybe about 11 inches, when completely stretched out.

No, they aren't poisonous. The do excrete an acidic secretion that can irritate your skin. It doesn't hurt though.
