this is PERFECT music for a dream sequence! was going to post it myself, but i see this one is covered.

they really did a TERRIBLE job advertising this movie. it looked like an unbearable art snob film instead of the surreal & sarcastic wild ride that it really is. glad i grabbed a cheap VHS to see what all the commotion was about.

i completely agree about the advertising- i was so put off by the trailers, i was entirely disinterested in seeing it and it wasn't 'til years later i actually sat down and watched it. i was so surprised at how different from my expectations it turned out to be.

100% agree! i absolutely DIDN'T want to see it because the trailers made it look like a pretentious snotty art film & not the wildly sarcastic & surreal mind blower it really is.

i was already LMAO with the starting shower sequence and the hair stood up on the back of my neck during the haunting auditorium scene, but this is probably my favorite for the music, the imagery & the hysterical end to the scene.

glad i kept getting nagged to try it in surreal film threads & bought a $4 VHS!
