Routines like this are why I miss the old sytycd stage with stairs! It made the choreographers be more creative with the entrances, and allowed them to incorporate different levels into the dance without necessarily needing a prop in the middle of the floor.

Plus, I always felt more connected to the dancers on the older, more-open stage. The new one seems to put distance between the dancers and the audience, so it feels more like a theater production to me. Am I the only one?

Nigel's comments annoyed me. They were, overall - negative, even though none of it was really the dancers' faults. And yet, the judges comments DO influence the viewer's opinions at home... which could have made less people vote, even though Neil and Lauren did a perfectly awesome job.

I liked it. To me it was about music and it's effect on you. Different instruments and musical styles make the universe move. There was the story of equality in there as well. It's like music effect everyone similiarly but uniquely. The androgeny was odd for about 10 seconds then it was this cool story about the effect of music. Love it!
