  • what is "planes datums"? and where can i find that info in the plane?? thanks..

  • U R AWESOME

  • dank je wel voor de tutorial behalve die punten die genoemd zijn.

maar reverse thrust is verboden nog te gebruiken:)

  • how or where can i know what is my reserves and cost index?

  • whats the name of the song? :)

  • DO IT AGAIN, WITHOUT MUSIC AND MAKE IT EASIER... PLEASE.

  • Hi i want to fly accross the pacific and I can't find and my I found a route on Flight Aware with coordinates as a waypoint but I don't know how to enter them in my FMC. Can you show me please?

  • hey I cant get the information to the FMC, it says: not in data base, and is the same airport as the video. please help!! thanks

  • does any default plane come with an FMC?

  • @codboroks97 no

  • i dont get this! what does FMC supposed to do? i fly without , and i work it out...

  • Ricardo, quitale la musica. Es un video excellente, pero hermano es imposible de concentrarse y aprender algo con esta musica. Estoy segur que nadie que visita esta pagina viene por la musica. Venimos para aprender.

  • Thank you! very easy :D

  • its not about the engine temprature :: OAT TEMP : Outside Airport Temprature

  • @winmen711 OAT - Outside Air Temp, not Airport. Good try though

  • Mistakes + stupid music = thumbs down

  • :D why did you have 50,0 reserves if you have 20.6 fuel on whole flight ?,,,,... and there are a lot of mistakes...no coment ...

  • good stuff, learned a lot, first FMC tutorial for me, will keep learning now iam encouraged by your vid, good luck..

  • Sir, you did a lot of mistakes.

1st. Outside temperature, not Engine temp.

2nd. DIRECT to Airport? You didn't show how to programme Departure and Arrival Procedures. You should select this airports to tutorial, which has it published.

3rd. You turned on AutoTrottle. NEVER do it! Only when in holding point of runway.

4th. It's FMC tutorial, and you show how to land? ... Something wrong.

  • how do you open the FMC

  • @airindianz ALT -> View -> Instrument panel -> CDU

  • dam music turned me away from the vid.

  • Thumbs up if you think he would be helpful if something happened to the pilots :D

  • Thumbs up if you think he would be helpful if the pilots got hurt will on a plane.

  • Can you fly into buildings with this simulator?

  • what really spoils this tutorial which in itself is excellent, is the goddamned witless jerkoff music.

  • Ello, RiccoardoP1983! Quick question! The aircraft you are using! is it a PMDG model or a Arian model! i need to know because i downloaded Arian model and I am having one hell of a f***ing time trying to figure out how to use the bloody thing! let me know when to can!

    Thanks.

  • songname?

  • How can your reserves be greater than your total fuel? Suggest you start again.

  • very nice thanks. 2 questions though. Whats the shorcut to make fmc to appear . And i dont hear the guy saying "1 hundred, 50, 30, 10 etc.." how do youa ctivite it ?

    thanks again

  • I am a B737 pilot and this tutorial is not 100% in procedures and flows, please dont follow everything you see in this video, just take a rough idea

  • What 737 is that? I have the Ariane 737 - 800 :) I'd like to know :D

  • PMDG 737?

  • Which Flight Simulator is this? ;)

  • @addew2 i dont know :D i know klm uses 30 and if you do the wrong cost index you gonna fly veeeery low or veeeery high.. The fmc does that

    Greet

  • How is it that you brought up the FMC?

  • hope you know that T/C OAT means Top of Cruise Outside Air Temperature inDegC. 483C, you should never be allowed in a cockpit! I hope the new flight sim programmes automatic and random failures so you can watch yourself fall out the sky due to the amount of pilot errors you make. Guys, there are other tutorials here on youtube, 100x better than this persons "Tutorial" should be "Tutorial on how to fuck up an aircraft and 180 passengers and a career"

  • @JustAnOrdinarySimmer Yeah, that was a true facepalm moment when I saw him do that.

  • lol 12000ft is very low for B737 !!

and make costindex like 30 ;) KLM use 30 cost index..

    nice video anyway

  • @depolitie112 CI is not simulated on PMDG 737... Infact, the CI is not simulated in any aircraft.

  • @JustAnOrdinarySimmer

CI is simulated. It's just not simulated perfectly to the RL NG.

  • @Mooboog explain to me how it is simulated then.

  • @JustAnOrdinarySimmer

Enter a lower CI, you get slower speeds, hence more economic speeds.

Enter a higher one, you get faster speeds and so forth

  • @depolitie112 What is cost index?

  • @addew2

Basically, a cost measurement of how a company wants to use the aircraft. For example, a CI of 10 will provide more FUEL efficient speeds for climb, cruise and descent, where as a CI of say 100 will give a quicker speed, but will be less fuel economic.

  • Excellent tutorial!

    Thanks much!

A possible tutorial on weather radar! (PMDG 737)

    please

  • wtf?! "T/C OAT +438°C" ?! Its the top of climb outside air temprature?! cant be like 400 degrees man :') and cost index 5?!

  • COST INDEX or CRZ WIND is simulated in FSX ?

i dont think so, but I'm not sure

  • @pogodapogoda Cost Index No, but CRZ Wind...very little and basic.

  • @0596daniel. TCAS is tied to the transponder. Look on the centre pedestal for the transponder switch and the TCAS setting knob should be alongside it. It can be set for either traffic advisory (TA) or traffic and resolution advisory (TA/RA). Just make sure the transponder is active or TCAS will not function

  • great tutorial, but how do you turn tcas on?

  • but where do you download a fmc?

  • What is management computer (FMC) for?

  • x-pLANE Or Flight Simulator X

  • @MCAS9077 is flight simulator x, x-plane is fuckssss

  • @josias003 Amen to that!

  • @MCAS9077

    no x-plane

    no FSX

    wait on "Microsoft Flight 2010"

  • very good although I would wish a more full flight plan inserted the FMC with STARS and SIDS and some waypoints.

anyways I got a question, does anybody of you observe too steep climp when press es VNAV at climping? I use PMDG 737-700 and FS2004

  • the route usually has to be programmed in - where does the route come from here ? is it already there when selecting departure and arrival airports ??

  • I fly by eye sight and I fly manually... I would use some components, but rarely... I stay about 30,000 ft. and look for blinking lights when I need to refuel. :D

  • how did u get your first screen from the left like that?

  • Thanks for the tutorial! I'm sure it'll help me out a lot. ;)

  • awesome video!

  • Why does it require the EGT temps in the OAT temps section?

  • is the flight computer payware??

  • I like the video - but your personal preferences to your music is not what I came to see this video for - why do so many feel if they can't create a monologue for their video, it must be saturated with useless music.

  • thanks a bunch im gonna subscribe big time :}

  • Its same to 737 wilco to ??

  • Does the boeing 737-800 that you get with FSX have a FMS, if so how do you get it up (or do you have to download it)?.

  • wich pmdg is this 737-600-700-800-900

  • Is this FSX?thanks

  • Nice vid!

  • I hate music when in videos about planes. I just wanna hear the roar of the engines.

  • @EnnCamp you may love some of my videos.

  • @EnnCamp i totally agree!!

  • God! Kill the music.

  • Why does everyone feel they have to have music(noise) in every video. It just ruins the whole lesson. We Pilots show up to class for only one reason.

    To learn!

  • I still prefer to enter my SID's and STAR's

  • sorry to hit this video but nobody follow this tutorial...the flight is a complete failure, i have read the PMDG 737 FMC manual when i got it (2 years ago) and ever since i have been flying the PMDG 747 and 737....subscribe to me i will be uploading a tutorial (Based on real world) :)

  • @FSHighDefinition whats wrong with the tutorial? I thin it will work

  • Hey can you please help me? I just don´t know how to install the autopilot the way that it just flies the route....which button would i have to push???

  • Great Tutorial

  • Very poor, i´m sorry to say.

  • Dear aviator reserve fuel for 737-800 is 1.800 lbs not 50 it cant be 50 due to maximum fuel capacity of 46.000 lbs. If you want to make a tutorial make sure you use correct information.

  • hmmm... that temperature you entered, are you sure you want that as the engine temperature? I think not, engine temp has very little to do with take off performance. Try the outside air temperature :D

  • my FMC on FSX doesn't even activate

  • Because U only get FMC in Payware/addon planes... You can get one in torrents search torrents for FMC

  • nice, wish it was built in originally

  • Yah me too... wish it was built originally

  • thank you for this lovely postXD

    5/5

  • great job thanks for your help nice and straightforward

  • Really great tutorial, I just wish more people used less autopilot all the time.

No autopilot flight can be as fullfilling as flying the whole thing yourself, aside from maybe holding altitude which is almost impossible without AP in MSFS.

5 starts for the video, short, to the point and great. Great work Riccardo.

  • Thank you very much.

  • @RiccardoP1983 where so yo extract this simulator??Thank you

  • @FSX404 I never used autopilot, neither have I ever known how to use it. O_O

  • @FSX404 if theres no AP...you'll crash when you fall asleep, gosh, thnk of safety...

  • @markkloplepol

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you're not supposed to fall asleep when flying...

  • I had problems for a long time holding 250 knots airspeed without A/T.. lots of stalling. I found the fix in my aircrafts' settings. Even even with the real plane its not easy to do. But I wish my old Eastern 727-025 N8113N had an FMS. I'm looking for the right unit. Also want to do the 737-400.

  • @FSX404 well sometimes i have to use it to take the pressure off and do other things. its kind of hard t control the eniter flight yourself

  • @FSX404 Hi there, I know this is an old post, but in truth, nothing could be more UN realistic than trying to hold the whole flight without autopilot, this would never occur in the real world, especially in a modern airliner as shown here. The most realistic thing anyone can do in a simulator using an airbus or Boeing is learn how to use the FMC thoroughly. It's usually inexperienced simmers and pilots who dont use this ;) I do know what you meant though, nothing like a good vfr flight :)

  • @jlebesis

I don't think I mentioned realism even once, I talked about a flight being fulfilling. And talked about only using the AP for holding altitude (at cruise). Did you actually read what I wrote, or just made up your own words to my post, LOL.

Just pulling your leg man, LOL, see you in the air.

  • @FSX404 lol its ok, I know you didnt mention realism, I should have posted that as a general comment..not meaning to have a dig... just stating a fact :) All great though, happy flying!

  • @jlebesis

    Thanks,

Getting back to your original realism statement, be careful what you call "a fact", I've done 6+ hour flights without turning the AP on.

  • @FSX404 6 hour flights in what though? You mean fsx? And what aircraft? cheers! And yes, I am able to call what I said a 'fact', because it is. No room for diplomacy with that statement. There is just no such thing as a hand-flown airliner from destination to destination, the last time that was happening was either an emergency, or back yester-year. Pre- autopilot. I'm actually really surprised you genuinely think that pilots hand fly their planes that long?

  • @jlebesis

Yeah, 6 hours in FSX, that will be the day, take care man ;)

P.S. last time a pilot flew an airliner with no AP for 8+ hours??....Mesa Airlines yesterday, and today, and tomorrow, those Beech 1900's, but don't let that stop you from making up your facts.

  • @FSX404 Well, we are on an FSX youtube video, so I had to ask. And I should have clarified, but given that this is a vid of a jet-airliner simulation..as I mention in my earlier statement " As in a modern jet airliner, as shown here." If you had said Beech 1900..then I am aware there is no autopilot like this on those props. Im not sure when the last time someone called that an 'airliner', even though technically its in airline service.

  • Comment removed

  • Depends onm wind sometimes you taake of at full throttle sometimes less watever fmc says v2 speed is take off speed in fmc

  • Cool shots out of the left window on landing........

  • hello, I press on to take off? press F3 and go airplane so I do not know what to take off, you do not know? answer please

  • oat stands for out side temp u put like 485

  • Thanks for the tutorial

  • what is the name of that airlines

  • KLM

  • KLM

  • I Agree to

  • KLM!!!!! I LOVE IT!

  • ähm Engine Temp? You have entered an OAT of 438°C at T/C :)

T/C stands for Top of Climb and OAT for Outside Air Temp.

You have to enter the expected Temp. at 12000ft. According ISA conditions, the Temperature lies aroud -9°C.

This has nothing to do with the EGT from the Engines...

  • Yup, I have to Agree with Kartonkong. It's supposed to be the Outside Air Temp of your Cruising ALT/Top Of Climb. The Real Aircraft FMC would Reject a Figure of 438°C

  • is that like a GPS ?

  • great vid really helped on my way to menorca now from liverpool

  • I thought you were supposed to use the LNAV and VNAV? wouldnt that be much easier?

  • Very nice video, but I don't see the point either.

What does FMC actually stand for?

  • Flight Management Computer

  • Not true, Flight Management Control

  • Flight Management Control

FMS: Flight Management System, is almost the same.

  • Im pretty sure its Flight Management computer

  • No you are wrong FMC Stands for

    Flight Management Computer

And do not argue because my uncle is a pilot for the military and that is what he said. And I know that I am Wright

  • Wright? Ahhh, you made the first plane! I didn't comment you, it's my litlle cousin who wants to be pilot (of 13) and he thinks he knows everything. Okay nice, which country? I am pilot on 737NG on KLM in the Netherlands so I know a lot as well about it. So don't think you know better than me, but my cousin makes still some mistakes!

  • What was the point of this? I'd rather learn to program the Eclipse computer off the plane I downloaded. Video and music pathetic.

  • Song sucks. Video Sucks. notion that you'd make a "Tutorial" , attempting to Instruct others how to Program an FMS unit in your Sim Aircraft, and have some retarded song blasting over the Top of everything..........what is it with all these goddamn shit videos made by "Little Kids" with their Fuckin' Stupid loud Rave Hip-Hop bullshit in there? Hey, try looking at some other Vid's on here, where the Poster ACTUALLY Talks, and you can hear him. and you can understand and follow it. Fail

  • hey piss off leave the guy alone he TRYED to make it simple. what does it matter if he doesnt speak? as long as he gives a gd detail video its ok. yes this isnt informed about sids and stars but make why the fuck do you have to have a go at people why dont you make a better video eh?

  • Awesome video, good for begginers. I knew when I was starting that direct GPS deal never felt like the real thing. After doing direct on the FMC u can prog legs, that's when the fun and satisfaction begin!

  • Useful, thank you. Keep the good work!

  • hey do i have to download the fmc first? because im trying to do it on my 747 PLEASE REPLY BACK!!!

  • you got it mixxed up,the cost index should be 50 and the reserves should be 5,a cost index of 5 would be strange.

  • ya i think so too

  • Fantastic!! Thank you... Now to see if I can do it myself!!

  • thanx!

  • At 5:35 how did you get the flaps to 30 without the Gear Horn???

  • Nice flying but The T/C OAT is not the engines tempreture...T/C OAT IS Top Of Climb Outside Air Temperature:D if you know the air temperature in your CRZ ALT set it up in Fmc D:D:

  • correct

  • Will this work with the Wilco PIC 737 ??

  • Is this FSX ???

  • hello :) nice video

can any one help me if i can download the FMC 2 my flight simulator x

i don't have FMC in my game can i downloaded 2 my aircarft

    thx

    TOny.

  • can u autoland using fmc

    pleeeaaassee reply!!!!

  • Yes, the FMC can do that.

  • Really nice tutorial and you guyz who complaine why dont u do a better one ? :) ty once again for the help my friend :)

  • If you are going to fly as "DIRECT to" please don't use the FMC for that. Just use default GPS cause your wasting your time. Thats no way to program the FMC correctly. You did also miss a couple of things

  • Comment removed

  • The PMDG 737NG isn't equipped with the default GPS. He doesn't have a GPS at all.

I thougt the same as you in the beginning.

  • actually it does ;) a well hidden one...

  • if i were you i should try an real route! and not direct

  • direct is good for beginners, adding sid/stars just complicates the whole learning process

  • thanks a lot for this video.

help a lot armature like me..

    good song 2

  • Hey does the 737 PIC work with vista??

  • yes

  • thx

  • NICE

  • thank you very much!

    :-)

  • hey man thanks for the tutorial, i have a problem and is when i am in the runway i click on the autothrottle to turn it on, but it doesnt turn on. I takeoff and then click on it but it never turn on, Why???

    somebody helpme please!!!!

  • After take off, set the master AP switch, SPEED button, A/T ARM switch to on.

  • Does the 737 PIC work with Viata??

  • what game and how do you get the fmc ? answer bak plz

  • what game and how do you get that pmd fingie?

  • how do you put the FMC?

  • where do you download that plane!!! 5 points

  • When i set the right runway on the FMC and activate him and when I set the ILS Frequency to my aircraft and set the ILS Runway Course and press APP button , he doesn't go to the Runway , can somebody help me ?

  • I have the pmdg 737 ng for fs9 and my pfd doesn`t look the same ? is it an add-on for this plane ?

  • look around in the pmdg menu in FS, you can change a few things in the panel, the pfd being one of them.

  • so what does the FMC really do for you?? is it just a better gps?

  • FMC is a computer that since you activate it ,flyes for you.You shoose som waypoints which the airplane is going to fallow by itself. You do not need to turn the aircraft,it does every thing.Well, the computer does it.You just set the computer.Google FMC and you'll see why every airplane brings one.
