  • easy inspiration,duran duran members refunded,video cool

  • This band will NEVER EVER be repeated...one of the best bands ever!!

  • Tony Thompson in the background hammering away at the drums. Sweet.

  • jje me gusta

  • @TheOnedeal yes I always thought it was Andy Gibb. I would pass the door taking a shortcut to get to class. That room was always blasting Adam Ant. I guess I was too busy listening to Run DMC back when rap was worth listening to.

  • kkj1966 OMG! WIU '85:o!!!!!!!

  • When I was in college there was a power station poster on a dorm door and someone wrote under Robert Palmer's pic...if he calls, DON'T HANG UP! I never got it...until now...that was 25 years ago, ha!

  • They should have filmed the video in Miami & got Michael Mann to direct.

  • Robert Palmer looks like Tony Danza in this video...

  • Not fond of the video, in complete awe of the album - even songs that never got close to a radio, like "Still in your Heart" are just phenomenal.

  • lol the audio sounds like the radio in the '76 Pontiac my folks bought me before I turned 15!

  • thanks for posting this vid! imo, this song was the best on the album.

  • This video makes no song but the song kicks ass!

  • shitty video, but good song!

  • Should've peaked higher than only #34 in Billboard.

  • Robert looking very Pride-era there. So he must have been recording Riptide around the time of this video? It would explain the great lack of him and massive use of stock footage.

  • John Taylor=Bass(Duran Duran)

    Andy Taylor=Guitar(Duran Duran)

    Robert Palmer=Vocalist

    Tony Thompson=Drummer(Chick)

  • Great song, great John, Great Robert, Great Andy, Great Tony, but that's really too bad Video ¬¬

  • was'nt bernard edwards from chic the bassist for power station before he died?

  • Yes, He filled in for John Taylor when John went into rehab and couldn't commit to recording the second album.

  • @ysam14 thanks your info. is point on!!!

  • @duranmania Wow, I didn't know they made a video for this song, but I agree it ( the video)does suck!

  • thanks so much for posting this song 203361. RIP Robert Palmer. on second thought-i hope you're jamming with the likes of john lennon, george harrison and michael jackson for eternity. see you when i get up there!

  • robert !

    forever!!

  • yes! the video sucks they could've done better does'nt take away that this is a F-----G asskicking song R.i.P. robert still hard to accept you are no longer with us!

  • Pride/Power Station era Robert Palmer! Definitely one of the best album eras of his career.

  • muy buen tema pero no hay un mejor video?

  • Great song, dreadful Video ! (Telex - lol)

  • I have lost all CDs of The Power Station. thank you for posting!

  • An under-appreciated & overlooked gem of a song by the group once lead by the late great Robert Palmer.Glad I can hear it on YouTube. Thanks!

  • hear, hear!!!

  • @AnthonysDen This band is way more talented than what they're credited as having. Awesome, awesome band!

  • @michelled1660 I couldn't agree with you more! Thanks so much for your comment!

  • Thanks for posting 203361.

  • I love this song!

  • sound quality is'nt that great but still an awesome song!

  • im playing this on bass now....john taylor made me a bass player

    d

  • can almost hear it, no wait i can hear it, baby u got better!

  • call hot luv, cum on, lifes ttoo short, we were good, member?

  • John Taylor is one of the best bass players ever. But, unfortunately, he has never gotten the credit he deserves. I think his prettyboy image and Duran Duran's videos and mostly female following covered this up.

  • We NEED more SuperGroups like Powerstation!!!!

  • Great - thanks.

Now we just need "Go To Zero" on here!

  • This was my favorite Power Station song, ever!

  • need bass

  • love you Robert!

  • Great song!

  • Thank you soooo much. This is my favorite Power Station song. Flat out.

  • hear, hear!!!

  • This was the BOMB album!!!! Power Station FOREVER!!!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. This is my second favorite Power Station track. [My favorite is "Some Like it Hot"]. RIP Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson.

  • Like Hugo Chavez says about Fidel Castro, "Fidel is a man that will never die". I say, "Rob and Tony are men that will never die."!!!!!

  • power station i like very much....thank you for video
