  • Someone needs to autotune this guy

  • Radio Chatter

    Psh ianbvervurnvirenvherivnjdfsijv Over Pshhh.

  • their radios don't sound like this...my friend has a radio scanner, and we could hear them talking perfectly and clearly. it must be the recording that sucks.

  • Bad sound or not, how can you thumb down the Blue Angels?

  • The audio levels were to high for the recorder. Trust me...the intercom sounds better.

  • the quality of the sound will have been fuuuucked up during the upload process

  • yeah this is the one that sounds like elmer fudd.

  • Jajajaja no mames!!! Corto sus guantes!! Para tener mayor feeling?!!! Jajaja pero de que son cabrones lo son jajaja

  • Its the camera or something its not actually the radio.

  • wtf did he salute with his left hand?

  • @Machinewar6 hes saluting the ground guy ( i THINK the crew chief for the airplane) off to the left side of the aircraft

  • @Machinewar6 most likely because his right hand is on the stick controlling the nose wheel steering

  • @Machinewar6 you can see in the reflection of his helmet that his right hand was on the stick...

  • It's amazing we fund these aircraft and space shuttles and can't hear SHIT from their radio shack radios!! WALMART! $29.95 radios sound better!!

  • ahhhhhhhhhh roger that chilly willy milli vanilli

  • we spent all our budget on this plane so were communicating with potatos

  • Anyone that has work the catapults on an aircraft carrier knows, it is normal for a pilot to salute with his left hand. On the cats, a pilot always salutes with the hand closest to the shooter. And, Zipper is correct. The Nose Wheel Steering engage button is on the control stick. In F/A-18's this button must remain depressed to engage "high gain" nose wheel steering. In order to taxi out of his spot, he had to use his right hand to depress the button for high gain.

  • you sir, are an inspiration. I have dreamed of riding in the back of the navy's best. I thought about becoming a journalist just for the chance to fly with you. Thanks for sharing and serving.

  • Please tell me he didn't salute with his left hand....

  • @GeFlous it is a basic knowledge thing when in the military, it's with your right hand

  • @mcrafter1337

When the crew is on your left, it is acceptable to salute with the hand they can see

  • @zipper42875 Negative... you NEVER salute with your left hand. Period... dot... end of story..

  • @F16CrewChief810

    WRONG.

"Navy custom permits left-hand saluting when a salute cannot be rendered with the right hand. Army and Air Force customs permit only right-hand salutes."

I was in the NAVY. I know the rules of the service I SERVED IN. Go watch Chair Force videos.

  • @zipper42875 I think you better go back to boot camp then flight deck training, I was in the Marines for 12 years on ship for about 5 of those years and any flight deck personel would smack you in the head for saying left hand salutes are ok

  • @greenmarine5

In my quotes, are rules directly out of the NAVY handbook. His right hand was more than likely on the control stick thus rendering an impossible salute with his right.

  • @F16CrewChief810 you are exactlly correct, NAVY tradition does no allow saluting with the left hand.

  • @F16CrewChief810 its goes way back as a thing between warriors basicaly. you always salute with the right becuase the right hand is traditionally the weapon hand. (with swords espically) it shows a sign of trust and show s you wont draw your weapon and attack either. hand shake is basically the same thing.. you always shake with your right.

  • @TheitaniofRome I know that... and you would think that if you would have read my name you would know that I know that. F16 Crew Chief... kinda means I know about saluting. I do it on a daily basis. You should be telling this to mcrafter1337 that thinks it's acceptable to salute with the hand they see...

  • Does someone know who the two solo pilots in the "taking care of business video" are?

  • Ah, ok. Is Mark Provo no more writing here? Is bryden28 Mark Provo in person at all?

  • @scremler

    bryden28 is Mark Provo.

  • Why the bad-weather-takeoff? Why no dirtyroll and max.-climb?

  • @scremler This was a remote show... where they took of from isn't where they performed the demo. Once they took off the solos formed with the Diamond and flew to the show site.

  • bad ass

  • What was 0:30 all about??

  • Why did he salute with his left hand? Thats a big no-no!

  • @drumbasher That wasn't a salute in its formal context. It was a gesture most likely directed at an audience/crowd.

  • now with a plane that cost as much as that one does wouldnt you think the communication devices would be state of the art???

  • that is one crappy com :p

  • i'm ex. navy too. chit chat. sounds like elmer fud, lol.

  • naw what he's sayin is classified so they are jamin what your hearing thats all..

  • @corey0059

I doubt there's much classified about the blue angels.. lmfao..

  • @Dieterweber22 im in the navy my man.... these are your eveyday top ace pilots. ima AC-130 operator. these gentlemen. use certain code to protect the radio airway... dont believe me..jus googl it..lmfao

  • good lord i want to HEAR what he's saying

  • When the visor is down you can see in both directions at once....while watching the video.

  • Fuck!! he's was eating the mic. I'm an airline pilot and I didn't do that, even during my training when I flew planes like cessna 310 or cessna 152 in the flight school, too many pilots do and it sounds like in the video.

  • @TheCessna154Pilot the crash actually happend in 2007. Yes please get facts straight before posting things about someone dying.. Especially of someone whos posting videos from their personal archive.. Thanks for sharing your videos Bryden28.

  • BLUE ANGELS COCKPIT TAKEOFF @ BOEING

  • he died in an airshow accideont

  • @CtrisGo100 dude that was Kojak this is angel 6 from the late 90's the angel 6 that crashed was in 2006 most angels only are an angel for 2 years please get your facts straight before telling people that THIS man died in a angel airshow

  • that guy died. RIP kevin davis

  • @CtrisGo100 no he didnt.. its the uploaders video hes still alive

  • @CtrisGo100 This isn't Kevin Davis... it's Mark Provo.

  • @CtrisGo100 Did have a fucking amazing life, why "in peace" let him fly in his jet for eternity

  • if u play daft punk aerodynamic with video and turn down the audio on this video sum it goes together perfect!

  • Airplane $20 Mio.

    Onboard Radio $5

Installing a Radio not shattering your ears: priceless :-D

  • @DasIllu no no man! he was hungry, that's why he was about to eat the mic. :D

  • @DasIllu Your hearing what is audible in the cockpit. The transmissions are delivered in their helmet, hence not being able to hear what his wing man is saying.

  • best. job. ever.

  • Why is the audio so horrible? great vid otherwise.

  • f-18 hornet can pull a minimum radius turn much smaller.

  • V. Good. The hotel ads I can do without.

  • This make me want to be a blue angels pilot now

  • how the hell pilots can understand their speech from their radios??+

  • @tukelius69 you get use to it, trust me.. its like learning anything that could be learned..

  • @tukelius69 there clearer then that

  • @tukelius69 It's not that bad quality in RW

  • @tukelius69

the same way a recruit learns to understand his DI sceaming at him.

  • @tukelius69 - years of experience and a tuned ear ! ; )

  • @tukelius69 you know your call numbers so you know when someone calls you up... experience and paying attention

  • @tukelius69 lots of practice

  • @tukelius69 it's not as bad as this video makes it sound. trust me.

  • Dino, Scooter, Snooze, Utah, Doc. Say I have a friend named Utah as well. How do they handle negative g's?

  • when did we start saluting with our left hand?

  • @glengel44 "Navy custom permits left-hand saluting when a salute cannot be rendered with the right hand." He's probably not able to salute with the right hand because he's probably holding the nose-wheel-steering button located at the bottom of the stick.

  • horrible..... simply horrible.

  • The ONLY guys qualified to critique these display pilots, are OTHER display pilots.

    Have some fucking respect,will you?

  • Red arrows are still the best lol blue angles steal our menouvers to. An f-18 cannot turn as tight as a hawk the hawk is more menouvable so why say the blue angles are better we are all equel lol.

  • blue angels are more accurate. If im right, I heard somewhere that they fly with the least separation out of any flying squad.

  • @gordomarley No m8 however they do fly closer together like the Red arrows fly further apart but still there both spine chilling lol

  • @TheFighterpilot93

Agreed, This whole versus thing really is stupid. I have never seen the arrows, which im sure they kick ass too, I have seen the snowbirds, they arent that great.

  • @gordomarley the snowbirds are pointless the reason being the jets they fly are quite old now. They should move to their hawks likethe red arrows. No offence but i think the thunderbirds are better than the blue angles. Again the f-16 can pull tighter turns than the super hornet. You should see patree da france and armee de lare. We do all our talking in de air lol

  • @TheFighterpilot93 The F-16 can't turn tighter than the F-18, but it "rates" faster. The F-18 can pull 10 degrees more alpha than the F-16, and therefore has a smaller turn radius.

  • @TheFighterpilot93 well duh it's slower

  • @yoyoyoyoshua im not dumb shut up you!

  • @yoyoyoyoshua I fly the F-15E out of seymour talking to the wrong boy! lol

  • @TheFighterpilot93 that has nothing to do with what I was talking about all I was saying was that the red arrows are a lot slower. but how long till your gonna be flying a F-22

  • @yoyoyoyoshua I wont be flying the raptor yet m8 and i really dont know lol even though most f-15 pilots fly the raptor i havnt yet been selected im being transferred soon to europe at the liberty wing lakenheath.

  • @TheFighterpilot93 ahh ok so hows the F-15E

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Its a very good aircraft and has broke many records. And how is the f-15? lol shes doing fine thanks even though i broke the sound barrier going over a carpark the over day very bad girl lol

  • @TheFighterpilot93 what breaking the sound barrier like

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Playing with ya kid lol the f-15 is great to fly she handles superb. And i havnt yet broken the sound barrier bit id love to.

  • @TheFighterpilot93 ahh ok but don't crash into another plane like those two F-15 pilots.

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Over hawaii yes that went terrabley wrong but most of the time us f-15e Pilots practice bombing and strafing over at the ranges. Ive only flown the f-15 for a year and its a great expirience :)

  • @TheFighterpilot93 yeah well have fun flying the F-15 and don't get killed

  • Bring on the RAF Red Arrows and lets show them how its really done !

  • Why is the camera pointing at his head?

  • @dementor338 They All ways Are, Tradition maybe? or to Monitor the Pilots During the Flight?

  • seriously, i hate this camera angle..

  • cool sunglasses:D

  • @00asha00 Thats the Visor.....

  • No Duhh...

  • why did you get thumbs down for this? lol

  • because there is no one has humour sense here-.-"

    seriously lol

    and TavernProductions:

OOOH REALLY??? i would never figure it out, but thanks to be so kind telling it us;)

  • nice flipping off

  • At 0:46 look at the reflection in his helmet. is he FLIPPING SOMEBODY OFF???

  • LOL

  • nah, its his index finger. probably som signal or something

  • nah...just raises his whole hand if u look carefully

  • i want to do this

  • hmmm.. so fine..

  • are you ready?... every gooooo¡¡¡

  • :-)

  • He should pickup an attenuating cable. This will remove the over gain on the audio.

  • Great footage Mark...got any more of these lying in the back of your closet??.........Carol

  • Thats seattle!

  • Boeing Field!

  • what i like about it is that u could see the front view on the guys eye cover glass

  • Horrible COmm. jeez.

  • @drumdude46 thats becaus it was scambeled on purpose duh. they are not going to allow you to hear military coms and flight tactics.

  • Can't even understand them, just sounds like "PPHHHLLKEERRESGHTECK" *chk*

  • stop the copy/paste shit it's getting fucking annoying

  • hello Im from Brasil and I love the blue angels, but sometimes is hard to understand what do you say..may you tell me what do you say at 30 and at 1:02

  • don't feel too bad... I can't understand a word he's saying either. Too distorted

  • I understand only " easy brakes" :)

  • I don't think any of us can understand what they're saying, sorry, can't help :(

  • at 1:02 sounds like "start em up" but at :30 even i dont know

  • He says:

"Run em up" which is the brake hold/engine spool up to 85% command.

  • Excellent Video, Enjoyed!

  • Awesome video, they all chew Gum!!

  • Yea, i heard they chew gum with ginger in it...It is suppose to prevent nausea.

  • Hmm that's interesting.

  • Yea, thats just what i heard from someone......May not be true..

  • when chewing gum while flying also prevents your ears from popping too. plus i support your comment

  • also to prevent ear clogs lol

  • yep!!!

  • ck out "Blue Angels - RAW COCKPIT FOOTAGE". i have poor grammer, but this is awesome.

  • lol, the radio chater sounds like elmer fudd and porky pig. i'd rather hear the jet blast and real radio chater than some music. that's my opinion.

  • And your and idiot.

  • that poses a danger to the pilots capabilities of hearing the other pilots and ATC for any dangers headings maneuvers etc etc

  • There are fm radio and ipod connectors for headsets that allow you to listen to music when you fly. They just cut the music when a radio transmission comes through.

  • probably a mistake.. ;/ sry guys...great video i love planes

  • awesome....

  • sad #6 died

  • A bird flew into his engine during a routine flight. Its pretty sad. God Bless his family.

  • What I love about this video is that you can see the forward view reflected, so it's like watching both viewpoints simultaneously. Good stuff.

  • Two words: SIERRA HOTEL!!

AWESOME video, sir! I've been a "Blues" fan ever since I could remember....back in the days when the Blues were flying the scooter.

    Great job, and God bless.

  • I can assure you he was a Blue, he´s my little brother and we´re both airline pilots.

  • More awesome video! Just a note, are you a former Blue Angel at all? You've got alot of great information and video.

  • you dont need to be a former blue angel to know alot of information about these guys or there manuvers

  • Well, I'm not and I know abunch from learning over the last 5 years, actually, this the solo pilot in 95-96
