im getting an itouch soon and i want to know what is is!

its a form of "unlocking" it enables you to fully utilise what the ipod touch is capable of, but if you need to ask what it is i dont recommend you try it

why does everyone say that they dont recomend tryin it. there is nothing you can do to fuck up your ipod unless you try really really hard which would be more work than doing the jailbreak.

dont do it because if you ever break your ipod and is jailbroken then it voids your warranty and then you will have to buy a new one.

jailbreaking is just being able to download 3rd party apps and other things for free

guys, i hav a problem, plllzzz help. i had synced my ipod wit a friends computer cuz i didnt have itune yet.wen i got it, i was downloading a bunch of songs, but not uploading into my ipod. then when i was charging it said syncing, and then all my music dissapeard. the thing is, wen i try to put the songs i hav into my ipos it says my library of music will be deleted if i go on, and my memory is still being taken up by that music. WUT THE HELL IS WRONG!!!!!! PLZZZZZ HEELPPPPP!!!

yep u can..my frend jail broke his and then somethin happened to it and he restored it to factory setting which u can do strait on the ipod and then ur good to go

no u can use limewire.. yes it comes with wi fi and yes if u download the song of the ipod but if u use limewire then no..some games are free

i have a question about itunes, and syncing,,, ok, when im at my moms house i have a computer there and when i download an app and then click sync it takes some time and it goes into my ipod, now im at my dads and i try to sync something that i downloaded over here and when i click sync a half a secondlater it cancels, and it doesnt go onto the ipod, can someone PLEASE HELP i want apps really bad i gladly appreciate it

how did you get "your favorite part" and how are you able to scroll over to the second page when you are looking at all your programs.

once you add enough programs, the built-in feature kicks in. You can scroll to the next page! This was a feature not added, but is part of the ipod. Just that we don't get enough programs built-in for that to work. The "Dock" program is one you can download through Installer.app once you are hacked.

that app that shows icons from the right is called 'Dock' and it can be obtained by installed 'Installer 3' on your ipod touch.

The main screen moves (that feature) automatically when you install more than enough programs.

Most apps are through Summerboard.

To get Maps, you need to own an iPhone and find out how to extract the progs.
