  • It's rather jarring and refreshing to see bands who are so natural in front of the camera, not afraid to be themselves compared with the media-trained ones you often get today. RIP Chris.

  • thanxxx for the lush

  • like so many that have gone before him, he lives on in the music.

  • This is the coolest interview I've seen of Lush - with my two favorite members no less. I still have tremendous love for this band. I have every CD & EP they ever released. I only got to see them live once in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre. What a sound - dreamy ethereal vocals over a wash of mind-bending sound. To see Chris here laughing and joking, then to think he would take his life mere years later hurts so much... You never know what's really going on in the heart and soul of someone...

  • Nice to see Chris again sadly missed, i remember our School days together and the early Touch of Hysteria days, never forget you mate.

    From Steve in the Lakes

  • My best wishes to you, Steve. I met Chris; I went to college with another from your home town who knew him via school & the "Duck Billed Platypus" scout troop. Mystifying and tragic loss. I think he wanted Lush to be Led Zep - sad that he couldn't see they were wonderful just being Lush.

  • "France is very good" : thanx, Chris.

  • "If it wasn't for me, Lush wouldn't exist". It's heart-wrenching to hear this bearing in mind what led the band to break.

  • Sorry. Accident.

  • yeah,what a great guy. rest in peace,pal.

  • chris was a top bloke, much missed..
