There is not a single contemporary account of Jesus, one of the dicey questions about the historicity of Jesus. Did he exist, well a travelling preaching rabbi would not be unusual for that time, but one who performed miracles should have gotten a little attention.

It's worth elaborating on that point though. Science does not rely on saying anything at all about the origins of universes. "We don't know" is perfectly acceptable. Religion on the other hand, is completely meaningless without making up and explanation of "the unexplainable". It's worth noting that if naturalism is true, then "the unexplainable" is simply a meaningless question. Much like asking where the end of the earth is.

Many galaxies form and then die over the course of millions or billions of years. Many planets as well. We can show that Earth is not going to live on forever.
Outside of the cosmological sense, the human body is complicated and efficient but not perfect, as it is prone to many diseases. I think that is proof enough that there is no God. Any god would have designed humans and the universe better than that.

I'm an atheist and this is a really feeble, utterly unconvincing Victorian argument. I decide what seems to be true by evidence and reason, not faith. There is no evidence of a god. Where did the universe come from? What happens when we die? Er... tell you what... I don't know. And it's OK just to not know certain things. Why would I be able to answer such questions? saying 'I don't know' is fine, and is better than just making things up...
