thanks for your comment. i used the strike in this case but i used the erdnase grip. i m sorry but am not aware of the modified grip u r talking about. there may have been some modification but that is inadvertant and not done intensionally.
@awimagic the modified has the index near the middle finger, instead of having it on the opposite corner, but you can you use the strike just with new decks? I currently use the push out from the Expert at the Card Table
thanks for clarifiying that. for me the real distinction is whether 2 fingers or 1 finger is at the front of the deck. i would not bother much about the corner or middle also that will vary according to the hand size etc.
this deck is old but not sticky and is aerated since i had a loose grip so i could use strike. i also practiced with push outs.
back when i was still practicing madly i experimented with only index finger at the front but never made any video.
You said critique is allowed so...Well basicly, to make this trick really amazing, you should show all the cards to confirm you havent put in some kings in the middle of your deck, as you have in this trick, otherwise its a great movie and i agree you improved alot
those sound like music to my ears... its great to know that my work registers improvement with learned individuals. thanks so much for motivating me further :D
Hi mate, I liked the video. Although I never liked the erdnase grip. Sure, it works without a doubt for demos but I wouldn't use it for real. Would be interesting to see you deal around, sailing the cards instead of putting them down to the table right away. Keep up the good work.
Wow thanks a lot for taking time out to review this video and instructing me on the right things to do. I have some practice with the Erdnase grip before I ran into your deals which blew me away. I have started practicing in a mechanic's grip now but am far from proficient. Will follow your instructions and hopefully you will be able to guide me. Thanks !
Do you use the strike or the push out tecnicque? And is that Erdnase Modified Grip

@awimagic Thanks, I currently use push outs in original erdnase grip, I'm pretty comfortable with them
