@Keltarvidz Ya but it doesn't have to always do with damage. If anything it has more to do with force power. If you have no force power then can't do any damage. The talent in the madness tree that reduces the force cost of trash makes thrash still a useful skill. Sure it may not do as much damage as voltaic slash but it still counts as a direct damage attack and can proc exploit weakness. But ya it's all about testing and learning what the best thing is to do given a situation.

@Keltarvidz Read the skill trees, the very bottom of deception. Duplicity, direct dmg attacks have 30% chance to cause maul to ignore 50% of targets armor and making it cost 50% less force. AND, voltaic strike, each time you use it increases shock dmg by 15% stacks two times. Coupled with the talent in the madness tree making shock cost less and have a chance to activate twice, again it's more energy and dmg efficient then just spamming maul.

@Keltarvidz so the combination of voltaic strike, thrash, shock and maul when exploit weakness is up will give you more dmg output and a smarter force power dump than just spamming maul which is fucking pointless. Again the amount of people that don't read the skill trees is stunning.

@shimsham35 yes, i agree. 2x voltaic strike + shock and maul, that's the combo i will use. but thrash really do not a lot compared to voltaic strike or maul, just auto attack if you don't have any force. And in the video i was still a new with the class, so yeah, i was spamming like a newbie x)

It's amazing how many people don't read their fucking skill trees. Don't spam maul unless exploit weakness is up, thrash can do just as much dmg and isn't a retarded spam.

@shimsham35 no, thrash don't do as much dmg as maul, and the deception tree need to be as bursty as possible, so your main melee attack is maul

@blueinfiniti22 There is a passive talent that increased force regeneration by 50% for 6s whenever i leave stealth mode. That's why i'm often in stealth

@kanekewl14 yeah a lot, the 12 button on the side of the mouse allow me to put many skill with long CD, and free up space on my keyboard. i can't play an mmo without it now ^^
