well it does have some minimalism elements. not quite as ambiguous/atmospheric/contempl­ative sounding as mogwai, less experimental elements, slightly more mainstream. has (can't put my finger on it) elements reminiscent of folk and shoegaze and reminds me of some song from the 70's. it doesn't quite sound like "post rock" though, and it doesn't have the build up/big climax/resolution progression of mogwai. I'm betting its not and if I'm wrong then I bet it's an early incarnation, shuttersclosed.

The animation is a little, I guess silly, but if you watch the video for the meaning its trying project (in my opinion, what its trying to project) it works well, though I think the happy ending doesn't fit well with the song, whose ending is "less happy".
