I play fight with my half Labrador half Staffy and I torment him with he's toy. Sometimes when he gets annoyed he nibbles ya and it tigles, and when he gets mad he doesn't go for the toy and goes for you and gives you a bit of a bit, bit I show him how its done ;-)

I know what you mean. i was playing with my boxer, and he got me in the eye, I had a red scar for while down my eye from him. But it is gone now thank goodness. But I love him, he is my assistance dog he never will let anything hurt me on purpose. And he is great with toddlers, lets them come up and balance on him, and he gently kisses them.

I was playing with a boxer, his left hook was fierce. He BOXED my contact right out of my eye. He tried his best to lick "kiss" my eye to make it better. He immediately knew he "hurt" me.

Boxers like pitt bulls???? There is only 1 reported attack from a boxer (unless its changed) thats less than a labrador and a collie!!! Ive had boxers since i was 16 and they are the most loyal, loving breed ever, i trust my girls 100% with children if they get poked and they dont like it they walk away, they are not aggressive dogs by nature as the statistics show - so compare the staffy to a pitt nxt cause boxers couldnt be more different!!

I had a boxer when I was in high school. His name was cheii. He knew how to open gates for ladies coming to the front and escort them in. The guys had to stay at the gate until someone came out. We would spend weekends out in the desert. Miss him very much.

I was raised around boxers and they're the best dogs with kids. We had one when I was little who would wrestle with us like this and she always made sure to cover her teeth with her lips so if she 'bit' you it actually tickled instead of hurting.

my has had 2 boxers in the past and we currently have 2 boxers now they are the best dogs we have never had a problem you cannot stereotype a breed of dog just by the way they look the only reason a dog might go bad is if you train it to be mean or if your mean to it i cant stand people that say bad things about my dogs they are great dogs

For those of you who don't know much about the breed, there's NO DOG more loyal, loving and better with children than a boxer. I used to roughhouse with Pluto - a little more aggressively than this girl, he'd actually growl a lot while playing - and at any moment I could say "No more...kiss" and he'd immediately stop playing and smother me with affection. Absolutely wonderful dogs.
