  • There is no doubt in my mind that the South pole is the senior and dominant pole , that the South pole is up and the North pole is down , one thing is clear is that it is the purest place on Earth .I see a future in which the maps will show the South pole on top .

  • I remember this!! They always fly in that flight path. What seat were you? I was in 73K

  • Although you seem to be in 73A?

Its one of the duo seats in the back...

  • What a beautiful view from 38,000-41,000 feet of the South Pole region.

I give you cheers on that flight.

  • You're luck the plane didn't break down right there. I can't imagine emergency landing in a freezing cold like this.

  • all singin will probably eat penguin..........them japs eat some crazy shit........man i even seen suschi....but was still wrigglin.......skined alive,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • awsome life

  • I could vouch for that experience, i had flown AvRo Rj 70 myself that close to Himalayas and would love tp fly near the pole.

  • was it cold?? usually on the ife you can see flight path, it also tells you the outside air temperature...

  • yippee kay ah.........boring as fuck

  • wow amazing!!!! it would be funny if penguins could fly and they flew on the plane ;) i no the air pressure and engines and crap but its just what if!

  • This is cool. I've never been over the South Pole, but I've been over the North on Cathay Pacific Flight 831 from JFK to HKG. It was cool for photos, and 16hrs long.

  • WOW, what a view!!!

  • That's amazing! I fly pretty much the polar opposite (well, okay. Not really, but kinda close!) when I fly from Tokyo-Narita to London-Heathrow. We don't fly over the north pole, but I pretend we do.

I was looking for penguins in your video. You had none. That makes me sad, but I'm happy you got such a cool geographic adventure!

  • which place r they going pass that place? only ocenia ti south america but not oftena nd i think it only happens once in a week cool!

  • whoa!ani plane flew passed north pole?

  • QF Flight from Sydney to Johannesburg (see also description). cheers

  • spettacolare!/It's wonderful! The earth and nothing else!

  • Cool, I never knew flights went down so far south~!

  • Nice video. I'm supposed to be flying on Qantas Airways on June 18, 2007 on a connecting flight on Delta from Atlanta to Los Angeles, then I'll get on that 747-400 and go to Auckland, New Zealand. But nice video, I love that view of the mountains!
