  • lol wat a joke they have goin on there those ppl need true leaders for that i hope the us stay in there and help those ppl cuz they r fucked up

  • @6GodSmack9 the whole middle east is fucked up and do u really think that if US troops stayed there that it would make the situation better?!

Get out of the box man if US don't get all their troops home soon the deathrate will look just as it looke'd back in the Vietnam war.

And also that would just make the situation worse because it would just create more hatred against America and right now like in Afghanistan the situation is really bad!And they can't win the war!

  • @6GodSmack9 I say get the US troop's home safely alongside with the European and the U.K troop's and let Middle East solve their own problem's!

  • religion is a problem in the middle east

all middle eastern countries should become secular like Turkey

  • turkey is an extremist secular (not allowing hijabs and religous symbols in government facilities. its no different than extremist islamics.i think iraq is a good example of government, religion stays away from politics but with not politics against religion. (without the militias and groups), i personaly support sayid sistani.

  • Iraq doesn't mix religion and politics?!?! Iraq is falling apart now because of mixing religion and politics. Turkey is not extremist at all, Turkey allows Muslims to practice their religion freely, but not force it on others. Hijab is an oppressive symbol and must be banned in Iraq as well, Iraqis never used to wear this oppressive piece of cloth and now it's everywhere disgusting. The whole parliament of Iraq is divided based on religion (Sunni/Shia etc.)

  • hijab is part of some people identity, but anyways you cant really do that, remember in last ashura in karbala, around 15 people participated, thats half of the iraqi population, which shows iraqis are loyal to their religion, anyways i think you misunderstood me, i said "religion stays away from politics" but without having anti-religious politics.

  • & the only ones winning are the Kurds who are now trying to steal a whole province from Iraq because we the Iraqis are too busy fighting each other.

And about Sistani, supporting him should be a personal issue not something forced on all Iraqis, I couldn't believe my eyes the other day when I was reading the business section of some online Iraqi newspaper and there was a mention of some 'fatwa' in there too!! This is not how you run a country in the 21st century.

  • i did not or would forces anything on anyone. but i hope you realize that there would be no iraqi government without sayid sistani. as for the fatwa, i never heard about it, can you tell me what its about?

  • there would be no iraqi government, and that's a bad thing? you call this a government? I don't consider Iraq a country anymore, today Iraq is no more than 3 teams- Shia Sunni Kurds- fighting each other to get the maximum win for their 'side', this is not a country it's a circus. The day Iraqis start caring more about their country than about these stupid trivial things is the day the war ends, you say Iraq doesn't mix religion & politics, & yet you keep mentioning sistani, شجاب سيستاني بالموضوع

  • stop talking to me about sistani, I don't care about him or any of your holy men, I care about Iraq but not anymore I guess, today Iraq is the biggest shithole on the planet, and all you (And other Iraqis) care about is 'allowing hijab and religious symbols', as long as you can stick posters of your Imams and force women to look like 5th century nomads then all is well right? Iraq is not a real country today, in a real country the government has no sect, religion or ethnicity, just nationality

  • memento, so basicaly if their was no governemnt their would be no army, no government budget and the world would be stealing iraqs resources. anyways whether you like it or not the majority of the iraqi people are proud of their culture, nationality, and religion, just wait this 15 sha3ban (arabic calander) you will see more than 15 million iraqis in karbala and see who is the majority. i respect everyones views and peace.

  • you and others like you will never learn to respect other people's views, you just basically said that because religious people are in the majority, they have the right to stomp on other people's liberties. Anyway, Iraq is the biggest shithole on the planet today, so have fun at Karbala, and by the way, if Iraq was so great today and this crappy sectarian government was so good then you wouldn't be living in Canada today- a secular country.

  • "Iraq is the biggest shithole on the planet today"

being pessimistic wont do anything. I already stated that I as most iraqis dont want a religious rule in iraq, all Im saying is that religion should be respected. whether you misunderstood me or just dont like what im saying, thats your bussiness.

  • I don't even mind if the government are religious or not, I don't care, I could even accept a religious government even if it's a Mullah regime like Iran! That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying that the way it's structured is not about religion, it's about sect. and ethnicity if it was a real religious government then at least it would be united on one thing (Islam) now it's like a circus and Iraq may soon loose KIRKUK to the separatist Kurds because of this, Kirkuk is the heart of Iraq

  • my problem is not that Islam plays a part, the problem is that it's a negative role today because the power is being shared in such a way that each group works not for the good of the country but for just their own group, Especially the Kurds who want nothing but to separate from the rest of Iraq & take as much land from Iraq as possible,

  • but maybe the next elections will give power to nationalists (who care about the unity of Iraq & not just stupid projects like 'Federalism' and a 'Super Shiite Region') support this disastrous plan, we must stop this at any cost. I have absolotuely no problem with nationlaist religious parties like the Sadrists, I just hate the hypocrites who are working against Iraq (like the Kurds and their ally al Hakim who want to steal Kirkuk)

  • all I care about is the unity of Iraq and nothing else

even if it has to become a religious Shiite state like Iran I would still accept this

the only thing we should never accept is what some political powers in Iraq are trying to do today (division of Iraq)

  • you talk about how good the sectarian & religious government is and yet you live here, typical. Enjoy your life in Canada, while the people who are actually living in today's Iraq die and loose their country (like the Iraqis living in Kirkuk who will soon be forced to join ''Kurdistan'') and enjoy Karbala and your religious posters, Lol. It doesn't matter who's the majority, what matters is what works and what doesn't, and today the whole world can see that your system in Iraq is a big failure.
