Naw... The first lesson is that you can only do about three beers before practice. Lighten up, Hog-Cross is about having fun... on, under, behind or around big motorcycles.
@steviep53 In this video we were just learning, but we found looking ahead to the end cone and keeping your eyes about three feet above that cone will yield the best results. The little dip in between each cone should be constistantly the same because the spacing of the cones are all the same. Roll through the obstical on the side of the tires, don't count on steering through them.
thats a killer man good riding skills tell are new to this have only been riding around 1000k so whats the deal when are riding at say 50k and need to do a 90 degree trun whats the best way
The gravitational and rotational law of harmonic balance produced by such a maneuver is first relayed as the body in motion tends to stay in motion, in this case the motion would be in a straight line. A 90 degree turn @ 50k will hurt you ...real bad.
I get a pretty good sweat going while I practice, it's a good workout. Maybe HOG will have a rally someday with two days of competition and cone courses for all classes. Making this popular on main street is our biggest challenge.
The music fits a couple of amatures like me and the Prez pretty good, aye. We've improved quite a bit since this video. Sorry I missed you guys at the HOG rally in Grand Island. And yes, we did kill a few ...before and after.

How far ahead are you looking when weaving the cones?
