  • Aahhahaa go cadets go! It would be a disgrace to have you guys wear cadpat. Fucking disgrace. Wheres the pride, I see the presence of autism though.

  • good march cadet fucked it up

  • I was in that!! I was with the air cadets but on the other side, so you can't see you :( anyways it was cold but worth it cause I got to be there :)

  • I was in the 2317 Artillery Cadets on that parade, and I was with the Admiral Kingsmill Navy Cadets (the little ones). They're only 9, guys, so don't expect something amazing from them, hopefully they'll get better overtime and I agree, they're marching was horrific but hey, what are you gunna do. They're CO isn't that amazing at calling drills either, imo.

  • Cadets are disguting ! 52 practice a year and you can't even walk to the beat... come on RAISE THOSE ARMS !

  • great parade.

  • Very nice video. I would love to get to Ottawa to see the ceremony in person someday. Thanks again.

  • Oh god cadets is a joke now. I remember when I was in it in 1999-2003 we marched with pride and had discipline. It's turning into Girl Guides....

  • @thetbomb In some cases yes.. a lot of squadrons aren't disciplined enough.

  • @thetbomb I know. When I joined in 2006...if we did not raise our arms or were in step (and I mean perfect cadence and in step) our Sergeant (yes, our Sergeant ... not our WOs or Officers) would have raped us. A bit of discipline seems like "it's too much" for them (rolls eyes and bangs head on table)...

  • @aceflyer89 Its just so dam hard to instill any real discipline these days, you even try and be tough on them an their mommies come crying to the CO that their cadet its being mistreated. Its not army cadets anymore its "Safety Cadets"

  • @doop1232 Been there heard that. It's sad. I still treat my cadets, as a WO2/MWO/CPO2, as I was treated when I joined. It's only fair and for the sake of keeping the instilled ideas of cadets (basic thought and door to the CF military). A bit of yelling WILL NOT hurt ... but of course, I will be proven wrong by many of today's cadets and parents >.>

  • @aceflyer89 We do our best but at the end of the day it seems like an uphill battle. I hope that cadets lasts but at the rate its going I feel like we are going to lose what was an amazing organisation.

  • @thetbomb I'm a WO at 1596 in Kitchener and I couldn't agree with you more, I have been with the program 7 years now it just goes down hill every year.

  • Thanks for posting this. I'm in the Air Force, stationed out in Greenwood, Nova Scotia and it's heartwarming to see footage of home. There is no equal to the ceremonies that I saw in Ottawa last year. Good Remembrance Day service, and it was pretty cool when the F-18's flew overhead.

    Thanks

  • What time did it start at? We had an assembly at my school so I couldnt go.

  • my cadets is royal canadian army artillery cadets 2317 30th field reginment
