I think I understand what's going on here... I have noticed that most of the ppl who hate on bladers are boarders. You see, back when boarders 1st came around, it was the skiers who literally tried to get them banned off the slopes here in the U.S.

Now, the boarders have something to complain about, whereas the skiers learned their lesson. What's the lesson? Evolution baby!! Share the slopes w/ anyone and everything! It will all be well. I may very-well become a blader too come January :D

They're fast and get much more air than regular skis because of the speed factor. I'd have to say that Revel8 makes some of the best boards, along with SnowJam. Anything around 99 cm would work wonderfully...

the boots dont come out of the skis because they arent the same as downhill skis, they only have 2 kind of clips if you could call them that. There isnt much that holds ur boots there but they work, mine havent come undone yet.

i don't really like snow blades either, but they are a good practice to learn how to do some tricks, i used to to learn how to 540 and stuff then i put on my skis and was able to do it after a few tries. but i'd personally never buy a set of snow blades.
