It's embarrassing to have Mick Jagger share the stage on a blues song with Robert Cray. Mick sucks at singing blues, and Cray is one of the modern day greats.
this is in the wrong key for Mick's voice. Looks like they are in A. Mick would probably better handle this in E. They accomodated Robert which is pretty cool, but yeah, not a very good version of this song
So, I guess that means that B.B. King can't sing the blues anymore, either. Or Eric Clapton. Or Gregg Allman. Or Buddy Guy. What a ridiculous thing to say. Maybe you should just stop listening to the blues since it appears that you are too far removed from it.
At the end of this video I am just wondering... is all that smoke caused by Keith tossing his ciggie?... aside from that, remarkable...and Mick how dare them. she smacks her head... what was she thinkin..
Jagger missing the beat is nothing new on stage...Watts does it too in intro sometimes. Ricahrds sometimes lost in the song and "rearranges" it. But not often as they did in old days.
Mick lost the rhythm! He started at the wrong beat and when he entered the chorus for the first time, again he off beat... Mick, my man, what's happening?
dude, thats what he's supposed to do. he comes in at the 2nd beat of the song. listen to the exile on main st version he does the same thing. do you by any chance play any instruments?
That's because the intro is played differently, Robert was supposed to do his solo, then go to the beat, probably, but I was just saying Mick entered too early... And yes, I play 6 instruments...
this is a good, in my opinion its not the best version...check out the white stripes version. Their ability to cross a whole new sound with something so traditional as Robert Johnson is friggen cool.
Next to Robert Cray, Mick looks like he's singing Karaoke at a college bar. What a great sight. Love Robert Cray. He was an Oregonian back in the day!
This sounds horrible! Im the biggest Stones fan you'll find but this is an absolutely terrible version of this song. The version off of Exile is much faster and better.
Mick fucked up. He started the song on the wrong beat and got everybody scrambling... not very often that this would happen with the Stones, but, hey, nobody's perfect. I think the way Cray started was confusing for Mick...
True, but that gets fixed after a verse or so. Its the pace...Charlie is just way too slow on this one. It's not his age because he can go still go faster than this, its just that this is too swampy.
I was at this show, right down in front on the floor, right side. It was freaking awesome.

Robert Cray is Awesome! Too bad they didn't have a guitarist of their own who could play like that.
Oh, wait, they did. ;-)
