Both have essentially the same game play and mechanics....but they claim to have run out of ideas for Spyro story wise......Spyro was a purple freaken dragon......I want more Spyro!

the reason i didn't put ratchet and clank at the top is that i love dragons and spyro i also believe is unique. sometimes ratchet and clank can seem to be a bit too much about mindless fighting and also spyro has a larger range of games meaning it appeals to multiple different groups of people and age groups

Crash and Jak are from Naughty Dog. Spyro and Ratchet and Clank are from Insomniac games. That's why Sly wins. In my opinion, Ratchet and Jak are always a bit above from Sly. It's such great game series.

i think.....

1st is. Ratchet and Clank, because I've played their games most and because Ratchet is frikin' adorable!

2nd is. Sly Cooper, because I find it's very original that for once you get to play a theif (or bad guy) in a game.

3rd is. Spro the Dragon, because he is a dragon and his games are fun!

4th is. Jak and Dazter, I've never played their games but they llok cool so I'm all in.

5th is. Crash Bandicoot, because his games are fun but you don't get to kill things in them so ya!

Personally I think R&C are amazing.

Spyro used to be good until they dumbed it down a bit for kids (The 1st 2 ps1 games are alright, I did enjoy Spyro: The eternal night as well).

J&D are almost as good as R&C, my favourite was the 1st game though, since it didn't involve guns, it seemed like they started trying to compete with R&C by adding similar content & spoiled the reason it was unique IMO.

All in all I hope they stay true to the R&C formula.

But I do hope that J&D does well too.

Oh also, Crash ended for me on the playstation One as sad as it is, there's not as much you can do with Crash since it wasn't designed as an open world game at first & they never gave much leeway for extra main villains other than Cortex (who hires the rest of the villains to do his work).

Well, Ratchet and Clank were created by the people who created Spyro, and it has had crossovers with Jak and Daxter, so I can only guarantee that it is better than Crash Bandicoot. I am not sure about Sly Cooper, since a crossover between it and Ratchet and Clank is currently being made.

they're all good games...Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter were made by Naughty Dog. Naughty Dog made Crash, Jak, and Uncharted top selling games worldwide. Uncharted won game of the year in 2009. Sly Cooper series was about thieves, honor, and redemption. I played all of the games, my favorite were the Jak and Daxter ones. Ratchet & Clank are still good, heavy arsenal games with a lot of mods. :D

Rachet is better than sly cooper because...well it's more fun.

But Crash Bandicoot...I can't say. For an early ps1 game, Crash was pretty fun. And it had the rock chase. Plus, the only good ones were for the ps1 and the ps2 is more powerful than the ps1 was. And Crash 2 was just great. I still have to go with crash.

Rachet is fun too and it is equal to the later jak series, but Rachet beats the first Jak.

well, lets strt off wid the titles, jak and daxter, ratchet and clank. then theres the fact tht both clank n daxter are the best frend jak n ratchet n tht they both hang on their bks. also the arsenal n gameplay are almost the same. in rc 2 theres a poster of jak somewhere in a building i think, n in jak 3 theres a pic of rc 2 somewhere in the game, n in ratchet deadlocked theres a skin for jak. the cmpanies r related in som way i dunno how. so in a way theyre exactly alike, but rc is better ;)
