Tlusty SUCKED okay? He was the Kulemin of the leafs, he was too scared to attack the net and he really didn't look to be a NHL player so Burkie trades him for Paradis cause Paradis actually Hits and Attacks the net... I totally agree that this was a bad trade cause i think we could have gotten more for tlusty than paridis, penguins were interested, but burke didn't pull the trigger. we should have gotten more for him but then again, there wasn't much room for him with bozak, stalberg and kadri coming up.

What a terrible trade! Lets trade a 21 year old former 13th overall pick, who is a dominant force in the AHL, for a former 27th overall pick who is bound to be a checker/grinder at best. Good job Burkie!

He is still second on the team in scoring and if you have seen any of the marlies games recently his lack of production has nothing to due with his play. He still stands out every night. I personally hate this trade but it seemed like Burke and Wilson were never gunna give him a chance anyways.

AHL... NHL is a different story.. he was given every chance to succeed over past few yrs but he was absolutely brutal in games played on top 6 lines.. Im sure he will remember how to play hockey now that he has left Toronto lol

I agree that the NHL is completely different than the AHL, but i disagree about him being given every opportunity to succeed. He had 10 goals in 55 games in his rookie year, not terrible. But after his amazing second half in the A last year they only give him 2 games this year? Just seems like Burkie didnt like him, change of scenery will do him good.

Tlusty probably had the most trade value on the team, aside from Kaberle and they ended up with this guy?....thats all im sayin.
