I saw them when they came to Minnesota for their Ultra Beatdown tour and I must say, not only are they great live but they have a really powerful stage presence. I'd say they're actually among the best bands I've seen live.

Actualy Disgorge don't have big flashy shows, their just typical dudes who play good music. Wich is extremely technical and far more challenging to play. If you MUST now I was making a joke and not being that serious. I don't like dragonforce but I don't hate them. I just get a kick out of reading ignorant half assed and rushed arguments by angry fans like yourself. Open your horizons to other musics, elitismtgets you no where.

No, but based on a quick YT search I picked up one of their shows and seriously, it lost me after 30 seconds. Dousing oneself in "blood" then pounding out a real piece of crap lost me totally :)

Believe it or not, I do listen to more than DF and was stating that DF is a power metal band, not a death/grunge/whatever band, so cannot be compared in that way.

My horizons are wide enough, and have given plenty a try. Not everything appeals though.

Yeah me to, but if you type in Dragonforce live dvd into youtube you'll see the video they posted, it's a small clip of a live version of The Warrior Inside, filmed in 2009. I think the DVD will be a compilation, so it'll have many songs from different shows, because in the description box it says "A live dvd of our greatest songs", plus there were camera men filming at several shows (mine included), also their tour ends in May so a June release is likely, all evidence points towards a live dvd.

@SimmiTN I can explain why. Back in 2006/2007, they had a long string of GODAWFUL performances. Look up Grasspop 2006 and you'll see what I mean. I listened to their performance of Through The Fire and the Flames... it literally fell apart at the seams at the solo, and even then it was rough going into it. They have improved leaps and bounds live since there, as this video proves.
