@BROWNBYHONOR13 Here is the procedure that we used: Borate solution: 2/3 cup warm water 1 1/2 teaspoon powdered Borax 3 drops food coloring (we used blue) Mix together in a 1 cup measuring cup using a wooden spoon Glue Solution: 3/4 cup warm water 1 cup blue gel school glue Mix together in a mixing bowl using a wooden spoon Pour the borate solution into the bowl with glue solution. Then have fun with it!

I used Elmer's School Blue Gel Glue. It's right beside the standard white glue, on any school supply shelf, of any store that sells glue. It's very easy to find.

Yes, it will dry out if you don't keep it in an air tight container. But it will stay nice for quite a while if you put it in a good ziplock bag.

borax, glue and water, i believe, makes this odd, hard liquid (it flows, but if you put pressure on it, it feels solid). i'm not sure what the proportion is, and it IS safe, so long as you don't eat it. (borax is used for laundry)

I've gotten it on the top shelf of the laundry aisle in the grocery store before. But this time, I had to use spray starch that I sprayed into a measuring cup. It still works. It just takes time to spray it out.
