  • The real question is, why argue?

  • you sir, are a credit to our species!!

  • people have their own beliefs why change them let whoever believe whatever i'm a Christian and i don't agree with everyone but i also don't walk around saying i'm right about everything

  • @JesusFanatic - You believe that Revalations is a 2000 year old prophecy that he been carried through time and translated and retranslated to predict the reign of Saddam Hussein???? That guy did a lot of bad but was absolutely not the most awful person our world has seen even in just the last 100 years (Hilter). I know nothing I can do will change your belief, but that does not mean you aren't greatly misled.

  • I'll repeat it 100 times: Don't let'em jump to a more comfortable argument

  • woohh!!! 1000th like!!! :D

  • @cubednation Hah! Nice. Only took a couple years. Thanks.

  • Arguing with a creationist is like trying to kick water uphill.

  • @dkthg so true!

  • I like this guy. no homo

  • Laws of Creation/Intelligent Design

1st- something can come from nothing as long as God did it.

2nd- energy can be created and destroyed.

3rd- if it walks, talks, looks, sounds, tastes and smells like a Duck and says it's a Duck, it's Not.

4th- if you don't understand something, God did it.

5th- when all logic, reason and common sense are against you, quote the Bible.

6th- the Bible is proof that the Bible is true so quoting the bible is fact.

7th- science is a worldwide conspiracy

  • Don't blaspheme "logic".

Nowhere does Genesis 2 claim to be re-telling the story of the Sixth Day.

    Gen 1:25-27. Gen 2:5 Gen 2:7-9, 15-17, 18-19.

P: the first humans Gen 1:25-27.

    Q: foragers

R: tillers of the ground (agriculture Gen 4:2-3 "the fruit of the ground")

~R: NOT tillers of the ground Gen 2:5.

IF the “men and women” “created” on the Sixth Day were the first humans (P), THEN they were foragers (Q), OR they were tillers of the ground (R). Gen 1:25-27.

    cont..

  • “and there was NOT a man to till the ground.” (~R). Gen 2:5.

THEREFORE, IF the “men and women” “created” on the sixth day were the first humans (P), THEN they were foragers (Q).

    (P -> Q) v (P -> R) : P -> (Q ^ R)

    ~R

    + P -> Q

    VALID REASONING.

    ARCHEOLOGICALLY & ANTHROPOLOGICALLY SOUND

New thinking? No, you just need to be logical.

  • The "flyers" (CLV) or "winged" (Heb oph) of Leviticus 11.

    1. KINGDOM. Animalia. 11:13-23.

    2. PHYLUM Chordata. 11:13-19. / PHYLUM Arthropoda. 11:20-23.

    3. CLASS Aves. 11:13-19-. / CLASS Mamalia. 11:-19. / CLASS Insecta. 11:20-23.

  • FACT: the first group of organisms listed in Lev 11:13-19- are members of the CLASS Aves: birds.

FACT: the last organism listed in Lev 11:-19 is a member of the CLASS Mamalia: the bat.

FACT: birds are NOT members of the CLASS Mamalia.

CONCLUSION: the bat is NOT a bird.

If Leviticus is un-reliable as a taxonmic source, then from the text of Leviticus 11:13-19, and the Scientific Classification System, LOGICALLY CONCLUDE that the bat is a bird...

    You're not logical you're a dork

  • @Zaunstar Evidence: Speaking in Tongues, over 20,000 arceology sites prove that the stories from the Bible are real, prophecies being fulfilled, prophecies about false prophecies, and much much more.

  • @Zaunstar Well if you would read the Bible and pray to God to give you wisdom and understanding, then we would be on the same page here about seeing past the reality of this world. You can't prove love is real because you can't see it but you can notice the love by your actions. God is like love, you can't see it but you can feel it.

  • @Zaunstar Now why would I believe the word of man who don't have the Holy Spirit within them?

  • @JesusFanatic8 Why would I believe the word of someone that believes in things without evidence of a basis for that belief?

  • @JesusFanatic8

I... can't believe that this counts as an appropriate rebuttal for some people.

  • @JesusFanatic8 what do you think the holy spirit is? can you describe it? because how do you know whether or not someone has something you can neither see, hear, or feel for the other person? and how would an objective person be able to distinguish whether you, yourself, have this holy spirit, as opposed to only having a "strong belief without evidence" whether it be allah, john smith, tethans, or the holy spirit? remember belief is BLIND. but noone wants to be blind, wake up man.

  • @Zaunstar If you do not believe in the Bible then check this out. People think that the Bible is outdated and all but how is it outdated if the prophecies that God showed John in his vision has come and is still coming into existence. In Revelation 9:11 the Locusts (helicopters) had a king who was the angel of the bottomless pitt (oil refinery). His name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon and in the Greek language is Apollyon.(Abaddon, Apollyon both mean the destroyer) Saddam means "Destroyer"

  • @JesusFanatic8 Ok, that's ridiculous. Christians use the same prophecies over and over to fit the situation. It's nonsense. Google "prophetic language" and learn how it applies to ALL religions, and their "predictions".

  • @JesusFanatic8 the problem with what you have just said is the prophecies dont say helicopter or oil refinery or saddam, that's what you think they mean and that isn't proof of anything that's just your own personal opinion your simply putting in words to fit your own criteria.some1 could read revelation 9:11 and say the words Abaddon, Apollyon mean Bin Laden because the revelation numbers are 9:11 and he did them terrible crimes on 9:11 hence he is the destroyer, can u see ow illogical u sound

  • Praying for you man!

  • @lilbowtiEes Instead of praying for me, do something nice for someone else. One pair of hands at work are more effective than billions clasped in prayer.

  • @Zaunstar Wrong again my friend. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful AND effective.

  • You know, for not believing that God is the creator you spend ALOT of your time talking about him. You say christians just believe myths spoken by preachers and parents, but you believe things told by scientists that make no sense. The way God made things work makes perfect sense but is not made known by the media because its a religion. I would say your a lost soul, devoted on trying to tear down people who believe the truth. Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world. No chance

  • @lilbowtiEes Some people talk about Harry Potter a lot too, but they know it's fantasy. Same for god. Christians believe because of culture. If you were born in India, you'd probably be Hindu, and you know it. I do not tear down people. I tear down beliefs without evidence. Also, this video is about science, not religion.

  • @Zaunstar If this video is about science then why are you frequently talking about how to go against a religion? I'm not religious, just in love with a savior. Just because you are born somewhere does not always mean you are going to be what's popular in that area. That's like saying since most people listen to music there going to be musicians. Live by faith, not by sight. All some people have is there faith in Jesus. And your trying to take that away from people by saying it doesn't exist.

  • @lilbowtiEes If it's more important to you to believe there is a magic god that loves you than to actually have evidence of such a thing, then I can't stop you. Believe whatever nonsense you want to believe.

  • @darththeo Where in the world did you hear that? God, the Christian god, is the only God, and all other ones are fake.

  • Comment removed

  • Over 20,000 archeology sites prove that the stories from the Bible is real. Also the evidence of God being real is when people receive the Holy Spirit and start speaking in tongues. :)

  • @JesusFanatic8 I know people who used to speak in tongues. They just copy everyone else, and it's not a real language anyway. Even most Christians think speaking in tongues is nonsense.

  • Thank you so much :)

  • @Zaunstar From where was the virgin birth, resurrection, etc. borrowed from?

  • @Zaunstar Hinduism was developed over centuries with numerous cultures contributing that all had different beliefs. Christianity has one of, if not the, best documented origins of all religions. Many circumstancial facts found in the Bible are corroborated by secular sources made during that time. Also, critics of Jesus (the Jews of the time) actually said that he did preform miracles, they said he got his powers from the devil.

  • @TheFlyingmonkeyman7 Christianity borrowed from other beliefs as well. The virgin birth, resurrection, that stuff wasn't new in Christianity. Read about religious history from someone that is not a preacher.

  • @Zaunstar There's only one.

  • @TheFlyingmonkeyman7 That's not what Hindus say. Why are they wrong?

  • @Zaunstar Actually Hindu's believe in ONE GOD but in many different forms. They don't believe in more than one God.

  • @TheFlyingmonkeyman7 So Zeus, Hera, Shiva, Amaterasu, Allah, and the FSM are all the same being? Multiple personality disorder deity ... interesting.

  • The athiest have defined Creationism their way. Evolution is a fact. The Universe in 13.7 billion years old. Astrophysics is now answering the questions. Check out magisreasonfaith d org. videos 1-12. That is the current arguement.

  • @AndyG792 said* and please excuse any strange grammar. I ran out of room.

  • @AndyG792 i never said it wasn't. (Which is disputable) I aid Christianity was, because it followed a God. you don't have to follow a God to be religious, but you are if you do. Oh, and they aren't "honest enough to agree it's a religion" They just have the opinion that it is. I'm not sure if i should consider it a religion or not, because religion bases on making an assumption on faith and believing it's true. science is about making assumptions from observations an testing to see if it's true.

  • To all the athiests out there, do you know that God loves you?

  • @TheFlyingmonkeyman7 Which one?

  • It is apparent that he hasn't had much experience in talking to a creationist. I know of no one that gives the responses he came up with.

  • But Buncake is yummy. :)

  • I agree with all your points but one...

The understanding of rhetorical fallacies, and their use, is essential for uncovering illogical dialogue. There are many instances where someone can present factual points - but in a fallacious manner - making their point "appear" valid. Fallacy of dialogue is crucial in conversation (of any subject). And, in the absence of specific scientific knowlege, you can often disprove their rationale merely by its presentation.

  • @LauriaMedia I agree that sometimes there needs to be points related to that. I just don't like that some conversations get completely derailed by debates on those topics about what is or is not a fallacy.

  • HEAVILY MEDICATED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. WHAT.

  • To ANY and all EVOLUTIONISTS........Paste the heading below into the youtube search box and all you EVOLUTIONISTS explain to us WHY these supposed "millions of years old" fossils shown in the video are EXACTLY like their own kind today. The fossils are claimed by scientists to be millions of years old. Why didn't they evolve if evolution is true?

Evidence against evolution (Part 1 of 6) Evidence for intelligent design

  • @misspeanut100 You are the stupidest person in the world. Is that the tenth time today you've been told that?

  • @misspeanut100 I'm not an evolutionist, but thanks for the YouTube videos Evidence against evolution (Part 1 of 6). I had not found that one yet.

  • @AndyG792 You're welcome.

  • @JesusFanatic8 i think you need to reevaluate your definition of religion. -.- Christianity is a religion, because it follows a god.

  • @KaryK96 then, tell that to the evolutionist scientists/professors that are honest enough to agree it's a religion. "... evolution became ... a scientific religion; almost all scientists have accepted it and many are prepared to bend their observations to fit with it," H. S. Lipson; Physics Professor; University of Manchester.

  • @misspeanut100 Yes, our calendar is based on Jesus birth and existence. but, since, even atheists are locked into using our dates is not proof that they are ADMITTING that Jesus is their Lord. Therefore, it can not be used as proof for what they do or don't believe. So, even though Jesus was born of a virgin, lived, and died (and don't forget the Resurrection, which is paramount to belief as a Christian), just because we all use the same dating system doesn't show admission.

  • @itchygonads haha your statement means nothing to me... first of all, how can i be religious if Christianity, im talking about non-denominated Christianity, is not a religion...Its a LIFESTYLE!! GET IT STRAIGHT! Religious people are people who mainly follow other books besides the Bible and the books that are written by man.Like Mormons follow a book written by Joseph Smith called the Book of Mormons and Catholics follow mainly saints and the Virgin Maria.Christians follow only Christ who is God

  • I really love how good, educational videos like these really bring out all the trolls

  • @zaunstar That's the same thing I say when I look at your videos, I am not impressed either. To me it's just another lost soul that needs to feel the love from God. I know haha yea, laugh all you want bro because I'm just a teenager and know so little, right? NO.. And no, God showed me with his love of what's real. Like when us devoted Christians pray to him, we speak a different language without even knowing it because it just changes automatically, and that language doesn't exist in this world

  • @zaunstar haha YEA I actually DO!! And yea and I'm heavily medicated with the Holy Spirit...You cannot understand the Bible without God's wisdom that is why your lost like every other Athest thinking you guys know it all...I'm only a teenager already understanding our purpose on living this life and you sound so ridiculous in your video bro.. you should talk to my good friend, who is a biblical scientist, i know that use to be former Atheist who taught evolution since he was 8

  • @JesusFanatic8 You're a teenager and you already think you have it figured out because you learned the creation myth of your parents? You'll have to pardon me for not being terribly impressed by this.

  • @JesusFanatic8 What absolute nonsense you speak. Classic religious moronic paragraph. It has NO evidence, or proof, or logic or reasoning. Just blind random assertions. You know nothing of the meaning of life, and i would imagine you would know very little about anything else either, judging by your comment.

  • @JesusFanatic8 Your comment seems pretty judgmental for a Christian.

  • yyeaaa like dis perfect universe is going to be created by chance and all u evolutionist say different things

  • @JesusFanatic8 You think the universe is perfect? You must be heavily, heavily medicated...

  • @Zaunstar You think the universe happened by chance? You must be heavily, heavily medicated...

  • @Zaunstar I'm going to disagree with you there unfortunately. He isn't medicated. He was skull fucked with a pick axe. Excuse the french.

  • @Zaunstar LOL

    Can I debate you?

  • @kidasterorig111 About what, exactly? Science isn't based on debate. It's based on evidence. If you have evidence, I'm happy to hear what you have to say.

  • @Zaunstar LOL

We can start with whatever topic you want.

For example: Why are there more religion than one?

    Did Jesus exist?

    How are we alive?

  • @JesusFanatic8 Perfect universe ? Sorry, I know Zaunstar already answered you, but PERFECT UNIVERSE ? What are you, 2 years old ? Serial killers, birth defects, genocides, war, climate warming, illnesses (Not just talking about the flu and such, think of hepatitis for starters), and I could go on for hours... Even if the universe WAS perfect, it still wouldn't prove there is a god, much less yours. But without even thinking about that, I hope you by now realize the universe is far from perfect.

  • @JesusFanatic8 First of all: How do you explain your appendix?!

Second: So god is "perfect"?! Well here is the problem:

God created the angels - One of them (and by the way a very powerful one) was Lucifer.

But Lucifer had a little problem - He was envious of mankind.

Envy is one of the "seven deadly sins" - So god created potential envious angels like Lucifer and his followers!

So if angels are superior to mankind - Why are they potentially envious if god is perfect?!

  • @SuperJuliusC god has created more than angels and humans and his thoughts are beyond what our mind could possibly grasp.

evil may just as well be beyond our weak little minds

  • @ikwhereyoulive00 That`s your argument?!?!? LOL

  • @SuperJuliusC and say god did create evil i'd think of that as a good thing. don't you cherish your right to choose to believe or not to believe?

  • @SuperJuliusC if there was no evil we would have neveer known not loving him and we'd be forced to serve him without choice

he wants us to serve out of love

  • @JesusFanatic8 That leads to another question:

Mankind isn`t evil but it can be seduced by evil - The angels couldn`t be seduced by evil because evil didn`t exist until after Lucifer`s rebellion!

So angels must be potentially evil - And god created the angels so god created evil by the way!

So if angels are "evil" and mankind isn`t "evil by nature" - Why does the bible still consider angels to be "superior" to mankind?!

    Doesn`t make sense!

  • @SuperJuliusC define evil please, because evil is whatever society says is evil

it used to be wrong for women to work, but now it's normal

  • @JesusFanatic8 another example of poorly educated statements

  • Hey Pornstar...oops sorry!...Zaunstar....

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

  • @misspeanut100 The egg.

Oviparity (Reproductive method of fish and amphibians) -> Ovoviviparity (Reproductive method of reptiles and birds).

    Checkmate.

  • @TheKainMan OVIPARITY! Really? That in now way answered the question. If a fish lays an egg, fish are born from that egg! If a reptile lays an egg, a reptile is born from it, even today!

Just answer the question...which came first, the chicken or the egg.

  • @misspeanut100 I'm wondering if you even bothered reading my entire answer, but just in case you didn't, I'll spell it out for you this time:

    T-H-E E-G-G.

What I wrote after the not-so-obvious-answer apparently was the evolution of fertilisation and growth from completely outside the organism's body (fish), to fertilisation inside the body and the growth inside an egg shell in the outside world (reptiles and birds).

If you miss the answer this time, with all due respect, you're an idiot.

  • @TheKainMan Excuse me, I prefer not to name call....but only an "idiot" would say that a fish egg that grew outside of and on a fish's body EVENTUALLY hatched into a chicken. In case you have not noticed, only F-I-S-H are born from fish eggs even still today. Show me where chickens are born from fish eggs! I'd like to see that. Why aren't fish eggs evolving into chickens still? OVIPARITY = N-O-N-S-E-N-S-E!

  • @TheKainMan When fish eggs hatch, fish are born. When reptile eggs hatch, reptiles are born. When bird eggs hatch, birds are born. Chickens did not evolve from F-I-S-H eggs. If they did, then why are F-I-S-H eggs STILL hatching into O-N-L-Y.....F-I-S-H????????

  • @misspeanut100 Wow! Just WOW! :D I, too, usually refrain from calling people idiots, but somehow they later prove they truely are idiots. To quote TheThinkingAtheist: "Asking why we still have monkeys if humans evolved from them is like asking "If America was colonized by the english, why do we still have England?""

You assume birds spontaneously hatched from fish eggs, which is utter idiocracy, and you know that, but you make absolutely NO effort to study evolution and instead say "God did it."

  • @TheKainMan Colonizing countries has absolutely nothing to do with "evolution". People branching off from each other is no comparison to "birth" or to you saying chickens come from fish eggs. Your analogy is off. Humans gave birth to humans and yeah some of us left and started started a new country....um...yes. But fish give birth to fish, not chickens.

  • @misspeanut100 I'm gonna give up now, because you're either a troll, or your skull is so thick not even an underground nuclear blast could make a dent in it. My analogy made perfect sense if you had a shred of cognition. England colonized America and Australia. England stayed England, America developed its own accent and lifestyle and Australia did the same.

And just to piss you off, no matter what shape or form your question takes, the egg is what always came first.

  • @TheKainMan SOME people leaving one continent to go to another is not the same thing as a F-I-S-H egg hatching a chicken. heehee. You need help if you think that analogy works.

  • @misspeanut100 K I lied, THIS will be the last reply:

Are you even trying to think or are you being idiotic on purpose? I hope you're still in high school, because that would excuse the sheer amount of stupidity you emit. I'm sorry, but every viable fact I presented was overshadowed by your bullshit bible fairy tales.

At first this was fun, now it's starting to boil my piss. I applaud Zaunstar for being able to deal with nearly half a continent full of your kind.

  • @TheKainMan Did you catch on fire yet? I left you more messages below! :D

  • @TheKainMan I'm not "pissed" at all. I am laughing at you because you are telling me "the egg came first"...but an egg is laid by a fish or a chicken. I don't see fish or chicken eggs anywhere except where fish or chickens lay them. LOL. Show me where some are that a fish or chicken did not lay.

  • @misspeanut100 You would see that when amphibians later turned into reptiles, they gradually left the aquatic environment and needed another way of reproduction: Ovoviviparity = Fertilisation occurs inside the mother's body, an egg shell is developed around the embryo and before it hatches it is layed on land (see crocodiles for example).

  • @TheKainMan So which came first then, the fish or the fish egg?

  • Mmmm, bundt cake.

  • Hi Erik, I recently came across your video commentary redux on my atheist indignation video. It was a classic ad hominem argument, including assertions that I pray, am a Theist, crave an authority figure, and other unfounded assumptions made by you. Of course, it's clear that none of my arguments depend on any personal beliefs I have, they are objectively logcal. I would have been happy to engage some actual logical refutations of my views, but apparently none of those arrows are in your quiver.

  • @kmsoileau First, I DID actually want to discuss these things with you, but you blocked me, presumably a long time ago, though for what I don't know, since I don't troll. If you're not a theist and don't pray, just say you don't. Rhetorical flourishes about assumptions aren't worth much when the assumptions are actually correct. I'm happy to stand corrected if you tell me you're not a theist, but I don't think that's the case.

  • @Zaunstar Nice try. Ad hominem arguments are always fallacious, it doesn't matter whether the irrelevant assertions happen to be true or not. Further, my personal beliefs regarding Theism are utterly irrelevant to the topic, which is the logical moral implications of atheism. And I blocked you because you unleashed your moronic horde of hyenas on my video, while feebling claiming that you asked them not to troll me. I'm not interested in contributing to your comedy routine.

  • @kmsoileau I DID ask them not to troll. See the info bar of the latest and the previous responses. If you want to block me for that, fine, but it's nonsense. You are here on youtube talking about views on things just like I am. I get plenty of trolls on my videos. I have blocked zero. Blocking me for not controlling the uncontrollable is silly. Surely you have a thicker skin than that. I saw many polite comments people made on your video. Many of them I am interested in your answer to.

  • @Zaunstar It occurs to me that both of us are wasting our time. You're not interested in serious logical debate, and I'm not interested in anything you have to say on your comedy channel. Have a nice life.

  • @kmsoileau I addressed all of the issues you brought up in my last comment, in a perfectly serious and reasonable way. If you can't handle arguing on the internet, then why do it? I've made similar videos to several other people, and NONE of them reacted the way you did. Most of them made videos back to me, and I am perfectly cordial with most, if not all of them.

  • @Zaunstar I am quite capable of arguing on the internet and have found some very intelligent debaters, atheist and Theist alike. I do not have much tolerance for interacting with those who misrepresent my arguments, whether through dishonesty or stupidity. Now that you have asserted how wonderfully tolerant, serious and reasonable you are, I assume we have nothing further to discuss.

  • @kmsoileau If you still upset with me, than there really is no reasoning with you. If the argument is wrong, I'd suggest making a video explaining it. Nope, pointless to discuss further then I guess.

  • The bundt cake hypothesis is, I believe, the best argument for the existence of god.

  • I'm a christian but i still believe in evolution I'm still new but to me no one makes sense to me since I'm new at being religious so could someone tell me in short amount of time how do you answer when ppl say if we came from monkeys why do monkeys still exist i would look google but it doesn't know what I'm talking about

  • @eyelinerfreak131 Well, first, if you're new to being religious, you might have some chance to break free of it while there is still time. Once you are indoctrinated, it's very hard to get out. It changes the way your brain looks at things, and not in a good way.

As for evolution, it means we have a common ancestor with monkeys, not that monkeys all turned into humans. Evolution doesn't work like that. I would start with the talkorigins website. Google that. I'm sure that they address that.

  • @Zaunstar alrighty than thank you for the advise ^^

  • @Zaunstar Every worldview changes the way one looks at things. Whether they do so "in a good way" will depend on whether or not they are true. So (absent of an argument for its falsity) it's question-begging to say that religion changes, in a bad way, how one looks at things.

  • @eyelinerfreak131 If ducks came from birds, why do birds still exist; do you see the flaw in your question? Humans ARE apes, we are part of the great ape family (hominids) which also include chimps, gorillas, and orangutans. In addition, monkeys are highly specialized to their particular ecosystemic niche, a particular niche that humans could not fulfill. To dumb it down; monkeys are better at eating bananas and swinging from trees than humans are.

  • @RebelWrestler45 I'm not the one asking the question i was asking how do i respond to a christian when they say if we came from monkeys why do monkeys still exist? I'm not asking that the christians are and i honestly don't know how to answer that since I'm not fully educated yet I'm still studying

  • thumbs up if The Thinking Atheist sent you here!!! :D

  • @C00LX100 Heh, that was quite some time ago as I recall, but yes Seth is a good guy. Welcome to the Crocoduck Army if you decide to subscribe. *:-)

  • @Zaunstar I am now

    ;)

  • ok well ill start here, do you know anything about embryology and human growth and development? just wanting to know where you wanna start and I will reference my info with my college textbooks as a finish my classes, would the big bang be ok to start with, so I can rid the annoying carl sagan star stuff argument

  • @jo3jo3221

"do you know anything about embryology and human growth and development?"

Like how human embryos form a tail, have a vestigial yolk sac, and start off with a very fish-like arrangement of aortae and aortic arches?

  • do you have to project your homosexual life on me just cuz I asked you a question you dont have the answer too, but I m proud of you for coming out of the closet. Did you choose this, or was ur brain flooded with female hormones at conception?

  • If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. C.S. Lewis

  • well bud, my issue is that is both vertebrates and invertebrates evolved from a common ancestor, but we are completely different too. Also, do you find it funny that we live in a universe, and if you look at the word, uni means 1 and verse is a spoken sentence, hence universe

  • @jo3jo3221 You might want to consider researching word origins before u go projecting what you think a word derives from.Universe denotes etymologically ‘turned into one’, hence ‘whole, indivisible’. It goes back ultimately to Latin ūniversus ‘whole, entire’, a compound adjective formed from ūnus ‘one’ and versus, the past participle of vertere ‘turn’. Its neuter form, ūniversum, was used as a noun meaning the ‘whole world’ (based on the model of Greek to hólon ‘the whole’) cont..

  • @jo3jo3221

and this passed into English via Old French univers. The Latin derivative ūniversālis gave English universal (14th c.).

It always astounds me the Ignorance of Creationist's and their pre-delection to state things as if they were actually knowledgeble on the subject of which they speak whilst it's quite obvious to others that ARE Knowledgable, that the Creationsts/Theists haven't done nary a lick of research that they are try-ing to assert their fallicious Claims about/of or on.

  • @Urfullobull well thats great, and there is also much evidence we have too. If you can do so respectfully ill talk with you about it :) btw im no idiot, im studying the same thing this man has his masters and im sure he can attest to our discussions we have had, but please inbox me, he is on vaca and I dont wanna blow up his channel.

  • @jo3jo3221 Sorry but I will NOT inbox you...if he did NOT want people commenting here the comments would be shut down. I am here not only to debate and possibly educate you but I'm here for others to see, and possibly educate them. And again sorry but you have NO EVIDENCE of creation...all you have is a Thousands year old book written by ignorant goat hearders that didn't know squat and borrowed off of other Mythologies older than the one they established and the Greek Mythology.

    Respectfully Urs

  • ok, the other question is if we cant fuse past iron, why do people commonly state that all of our elements were created by fusion, but we cant fuse past iron?

  • @DNAunion ahhhhh first stab at me eh? I was just asking a simple question, you know I may be a creationist, but I STILL LIKE TO LEARN. Furthermore, yes there are big buildings like that, and no, besides the twin towers, nothing has been dont to them. Also, thier mission was not to get to heaven, but honestly I cannot comment on that. I have done evp work, which proved to me that SPIRITS ARE REAL and you know what thats proof enough for me, and yes im aware that my pseudo science belief may be

  • @jo3jo3221

"I have done evp work, which proved to me that SPIRITS ARE REAL "

I have done molecular cell biology research, which proved to me that the Supreme Council of Magical Invisible Pink Flying Unicorns is real.

  • @DNAunion for real man, quit being a jerk dude, you dont have to be rude

  • @jo3jo3221

    Suck my dick.

You asked questions I bothered to spend time to give you answers.

Then you acted like an ass to me. So shut the fuck up when I am an ass back to you.... okay, dumbfuck?

  • @DNAunion "Suck my dick." you would like that wouldn't you? "You asked questions I bothered to spend time to give you answers. Then you acted like an ass to me. So shut the fuck up when I am an ass back" Yes, you did, and I learned some things, and like I should, I asked questions and you started you pms( do you need me to pick you up some pads girl)"Then you acted like an ass to me. So shut the fuck up when I am an ass back to you.... okay, dumbfuck?" so by asking questions and im being an a**

  • @jo3jo3221

"so by asking questions and im being an a**"

Um, no dumbfuck, by being an ass you were being an ass.

  • @jo3jo3221

So, why was Jesus so fucking stupid as to think that mental illness was caused by demon possession?

  • And I ask you questions that you don't fully answer and im a dumbf***? I must say this has been a great sociology project, Zunstar, thank you for debating calmly and teaching me, DNAunion, get some manners.

  • @jo3jo3221

Why did your God condone slavery?

  • @jo3jo3221

Why are you stupid enough to believe in an imaginary, invisible, magic three-headed monster man in the sky?

  • @jo3jo3221

The very bedrock of Christianity is INjustice.

Justice cannot accept the life of the innocent in place of the life of the guilty, even if the innocent were to offer itself. To accept that would be to destroy everything the concept of justice means. Yet that is exactly what underlies all of Christianity.

  • @jo3jo3221

Why was your "all-powerful" God powerless against chariots if they were made of iron?

  • @jo3jo3221

Why are the two legends of Jesus' birth - the one in "Matthew" and the one in "Luke" -- so completely different, even contradicting each other in places?

  • @jo3jo3221

Why can't the Bible even present a consistent view of Jesus as all-knowing?

In the gospel of "John", Jesus shows his powers of ominscience a couple times, telling things it would be impossible for him to know otherwise.

Yet in the synoptic gospels, Jesus doesn't know that his best bud John the Baptist was beheaded until John's followers came and told him.

  • @jo3jo3221

Why is the Genesis I Creation Myth scientifically refuted in at least 4 different ways?

  • @jo3jo3221

Why does the Bible never say anywhere that the earth is spherical, but does say that it is a circle ... since the earth is NOT a circle, which is a flat, two-dimenstional shape?

  • @jo3jo3221

Why doesn't the Bible say anywhere the very basics of the earth, which every child learns in the first grade or so .... the earth is spherical, rotates about its own axis, and revolves around the sun.

You'd think an all-knowing dude in the sky would know at least what first graders today do.

  • @DNAunion actually bud, the bible does say that it is spherical

  • @jo3jo3221

The really pathetic thing is that in Isaiah, elsewhere, he uses a word that translates into a three-dimensional spherical object, a ball. But when describing the earth, Isaiah forgoes that word and chooses the word for circle!

  • @jo3jo3221

How many of each "kind" of bird was Noah supposed to take aboard the ark?

    1) Genesis 6 tells us he was supposed to take one pair.

    2) Genesis 7 tells us he was supposed to take seven (pairs).

    Direct contradiction.

  • @jo3jo3221

Tell us about you "Holy Book" talking about a fire-breathing monster, God holding lightning in his hand and hurling down at targets on earth, a man made from dirt, a talking snake, magical trees, staffs turning into snakes, a virgin giving birth, and and talking donkey. Please, tell us about those ridiculous things.

  • @DNAunion simple, it says take seven of every clean animal and two of every unclean animal

  • @jo3jo3221

Nope. Sound like you just googled and posted the first failed piece of shit response you found.

It says explicitly 2 of every "kind" of bird in Genesis 6.

It says explicity 7 (pairs) of every "kind" of bird in Genesis 7.

Direct contradiction. The Bible is a fucking joke!

  • @DNAunion nope genesis 6 verse 7 and genesis 7 verse 2 I know my bible
