The last great Tony Hawk game, in my opinion, was Underground 1. THUG 2 and American Wasteland were ok. Downhill Jam was decent and original. But Project and Proving Ground sucked.

The thps were good. THUG had the best story. And THAW had the best idea of gameplay. Project 8 and proving ground were royal dicks. f tony didnt take out the whole free roam thing for the ps2, his games might have been a bit more popular but, he sacraficed that one bit off freedom for what? Nail the trick? that was a bunch of Platapus shit. Tony can make his games with new technology like the new one hes making, but Skate 2 will be forever better.
