@DrVoltage1 it was definitly and ippon ... Look at his back lol its very clear he just rolls over ... and yea its yuko .. like wat the guy said below me
some of these throws in judo can be found exactly the same in greco-roman wrestling, just under a different name and different focus on certain variations. most of the techniques we now see in modern wrestling has lost some of the traditional takedown throws because a double leg is much simpler to drill and use under modern wrestling rules. so you see, rules makes a big difference!
GIs make it take more teqnique.. more of a sport. If you want real mighting so bad just spend all your time in krav maga... i bet you get to use it 0-1 times in your life.
Modern Olympic Judo rules most poorly modify form of any existing GI wrestling engagement in the world and deferent from as it was presented initially in 1964…. It have no thing to do with Japan, apart of use some referee signals (same as FILA use French). Judo survive only because of Olympic recognition. If some one removes Judo from Olympics, IJF would die with in 20 years by slow and painful death.
Same as Greco-roman have no thing to do with Greek or Romans. It was called “French wrestling” and it form of wrestling was used often in circuses as entertainment (as it modern MMA). FILA just play with people mind by use name “Greco-roman” it sound COOL.
IJF modify Olympic Judo rules of engagement as much them like for marketing purpose etc. IJF change colour of GI and TATAMI etc. If needed them would change name and language too. .... but you cant enter in kodokan in blue...
It was an ATTEMPT at a tai-otoshi. Since he failed and one knee dropped to the mat, technically it would probably be called seoi-otoshi since the action of the throw is dropping.
@NZSambo ahahah you can't call Japanese classification rubbish... That's like, sacrilegious... That's like telling "God" hey you stupid fuck were called Humanz not humans lol
@SlugDropsonheads Since Japanese for you gods, then you may accept any bullshit from them and eat it. Not me. I do watch things before I put it in mouth.
@NZSambo Ahahahahaa its just classification you retard! What the fuck does it matter?? You idiot man, they created judo they can call what ever the fuck they want ANYTHING who the fuck are you to tell them otherwise? ahahahaha
@SlugDropsonheads 1. If you think Japanese create Judo – you wrong. It is same as to say Japanese create man.
2. Faget as you , may classify men’s asshole as pussy but it newer will because of your wish.
Same with Japanese classification, most things name not correctly and wrong. You like it keep it and you even perceive you finger as dick amd hand as pussy but it never would be any good to make baby.
@NZSambo AHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU THINK SOMEONE ELSE CREATED JUDO?!?!? AHAHAHAHAHAH YOUR SO STUPID ITS UNBEARABLE AHAHAHAHA. Look Judo was funded in Japan you idiot if you don't know at least that... well they you are mentally disabled beyond any repair.
@SlugDropsonheads Free educations lessonse for poor ignores like you:
Olympic Judo not thing more then GI WRESTLING.
Most nations have GI WRESTLING engagement with identical technical application as it used in Olympics. Mongolian, Georgian, Koreans, Tatars, Uzbek etc. All of them learn from Japanese? In fact, Japanese are “Chainese/Korean” who move out from main land.
@NZSambo Ahahahaha Really? Name one of these "Gi Wrestling" sports... I hope you know your already making your statement wrong because GI is the Japanese word for Uniform! And it doesn't matter where the original Japanese came from so what Americans came from Europe but you don't call them European...
@NZSambo "Obrigato" does exist in Spanish. It's "Gracias" in spanish, and "OBRIGADO" in Portuguese. Also there is no relationship what so ever between the Japanese "Arigato" and Portuguese "Obrigado"
@SlugDropsonheads: It is often suggested that the Japanese word arigatō derives from the Portuguese obrigado, both of which mean "Thank you," but this is demonstrably false. The Japanese phrase arigatō is a shortened form of arigatō gozaimasu, meaning "Thank you". This is a form of an adjective, arigatai, for which written records exist dating back to the Man'yōshū, well before Japanese contact with Portugal.

Japanese classification is rubbish.
Biomechanical it is front block(trip) from 1 knee.
Taiotoshi(JPN) - front block(trip)(ENG) - передняя подножка (RUS).
So no matter what abracadabra Japanese call it is still 1 knee front block by biomechanical description.
So in USSR - it would classifieds as передняя подножка с колена(RUS) - 1 knee front block(ENG)

@SlugDropsonheads GI Grappling and No GI Grappling is also Japanese words?
And “arigato” came from Spanish “obrigato” …
Half of English words – is Latin,
Half of Latin – Greek
So every one Greek?
…and yes there is such things as “African-American” etc.
