What a great video, I have an Autistic Daughter and I was extremely moved and uplifted by the video.. I am proud of all who participated and wish I knew how to get in touch with that #61 on the Shamrocks. He was one of the last to leave Ryan's side because he wanted to give him a high five to mark his accomplishment. I've been fortunate enough to work with a lot of brave and honorable men and looking at that video I see the next generation has them too.
@lostrowski66- i was in Idaho when i thought i saw this on the news. it may not have been this story tho. maybe something similar? i am probably wrong lol. really touching story tho(:
im 29 years old and suffer from autism. this story is an inspiration to us all. hopefully someday we can beat this disorder into submission. its nice to see your son get the love and understanding that it took me so long to get. he is an inspiration mam.
I keep hitting the replay button and crying all at the same time keyboard full of tears. You go Ryan Ostrowski #1. Great sportsmanship, thanks for sharing.
this is like Johanna at my High School shes at every volleyball, basketball, football, track meet, cheerleading comps, and most importantly is the life of the pep rally party she is the Royals #1 fan (Royals is my schools team name)
This is what those kids will remember 30 years from now, not the score, probably not even who won, but, that one single, amazing play. This, this is why I love sports. We, as parents or players, get too wrapped up in W's and L's, this proves how much MORE there is to it.
This is such an Inspirational Video. This is Truely an Amazing and Wonderful Kid. Made Me Cry, may you and your family be blessed, u guys r ture Heroes.
I am so PROUD of Ryan, his brother, his team, and the other team! I am an anti-bullying advocate and an educator and unfortunately I see much more cruelty than kindness. Whenever I become disheartened I will remember you and your beautiful family who seem to put no limits on dreams. Thank you for sharing this and I send much love, hope, and happiness from Washington State<3
seriously if you disliked this you should legit kill yo self this is a boy that would probably love to play football for the rest of his life but he is unable to but what these people have done to let play and score is just heartwarming
@mysterrugixs No not offended at all. It was set up by both teams to give him a chance to play. There are no football programs for special needs in our area. :)
I work with people with special needs and my son is one of them. This video just might be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. SO MUCH LOVE. Thank you for sharing.
Im a grown man and this video has me tearing up like a little girl. With all the bad in this world today, this video shows how amazing people can really be! Congrats Ryan!
this is awsome im not autistic but i am 5,4 130 lbs and i play semi pro ball and start as a wr and man its hard out there with bigger ppl this even inspires me to never quit ryan u are a beast if i could meet u i get yr autograph mad respect to all of u who is helping him never quit ryan never quit!!!!!:)
I work with students and adults with disabilties. This reminds me of one of my students who just recently died. It was always his dream to play football. When I showed Jake (my student) this video, he said I want to be like that boy. Unfortunatly, he never got to. Thank you so much for putting up this video, It is an inspiration to me and all my students. God bless you and you amazing son.
@aligirl100 Your comment made me cry...I'm glad he got to see Ryan's video, but so sad he never had the opportunity to play a sport he loved. God bless you, your students are fortunate to have a teacher who cares so much!! :)
@aligirl100 God bless ya. That is so sad, but you made Jake's life better, just even for a minute. That is what counts and he's probably still thanking you for it. :)
Well, that was just amazing. Way to go Michael and all the Mustangs. And way to go Shamrocks. Both teams are obviously made up of quality young men and this video is a tribute to all of them. And the coaches are to be commended. How wonderful it must feel to know that you're coaching players with this kind of character and integrity! Thank you, Ostrowski Family, for posting this truly inspiring video. And may God bless Ryan and his family.
That's what I call sportsmanship. This is just amazing. Even if the other team was up, they gave this boy a chance at what he wanted his whole life. I really appreciate what the NE Detroit Shamrocks did, helping Ryan fulfill his dreams. Brings tears to my eyes. They gave him high fives and hugs and everything. It also touches me that his brother got to lead him into the endzone. Great bonding moment. Bless you and your family, Ryan! :')
This was so touching. I cried as I watched. You have a wonderful blessed family. i too have an autistic son with cerebal palsey. may God bless you all.
What a tribute to both teams and coaching staff to help Ryan fulfill an awesome dream. Nothing displayed here but true sportmanship and encouragement from everyone. I loved the smiles on EVERYONE'S faces as he was running into the end zone. This will forever remain in the memory of these players and spectators who witnessed it. As a parent myself, prayers are with your family and Ryan.
man this video fucking rocks man that a great team or should i say teams and wow he has such a great brother to lead him into the endzone i really enjoyed this thanks im from texas
wow i remember watching this at the game, very inspirational . I have an autistic brother and even tho he may get on my nerves if any one tried to hurt him they would have to go through me. everyone deserves a moment like Ryan's
when i seen the other team come into the endzone and gave him high fives and cheered for him, i shed a tear, and im a 16 yeard old sophomore football player... i have an autistic friend who plays football on my team, i will always protect him like a brother, this is truly inspirational.
