i am happy that i bought it especially the GOTY edition

at first i didn't liked it but after i got the car well lets just say that 10 hours of gameplay was so fast that it felt like i was just playing 10 minutes

Totally agree that this is an awesome game and the fusion of rpg and fps is sweet. I also love the gunplay in the game moreso than alot of other fps. I think it's just the feel of it all. Oh by the way, I noticed you said you had difficulty picking up loot. I found collecting to be fun, but I held down the collect key for a moment and all the loot in your immidate area will be picked up in one swipe. I play on the pc however. I don't know how it works on consoles.

@stroony8 i played through all 3 of them, and the best is Still Fallout 3. NV was too similar, in a bad way thatt made the game feel like a lazy retread. Borderlands is probably the most fun of the 3 though, with its arcade like style and RPG elements.

You should get both of them on a steam sale! :D you wont regret it.

My brother asked if it would be a game I'm interested in (since we enjoy co-op games). When he said it mixed FPS + RPG I instantly said "Yes." No reviews read or videos watched, and I'm glad I went with my gut. Borderlands is one of the best games I've ever played. Though the framerate does drop severely in the Zombie Island DLC. New zombie tactic: make it difficult to play so they can omnomnom you.

@copi111 I take it you get an alien weapon? Or did you get an artifact? If you are going after artifacts I would suggest killing the small fries like Spiderants. You can also get alien weapons from boss fights, I got one from the Rakk Hive and the Vault Monster.

I have Dragon Age and i think its too easy if you want a story line it seems Dragon Age is better with many options/Borderlands looks like its more challenging as you dont give commands and YOU fight ,for replayability i think dragon age is better for the diffrent ways the story can change depending on race and class but you might get bored easy.

The only bad thing I have to say about this game is that the skills in the game are more passive. don't get me wrong you can use these passive skills when you shoot but it still could be a bit more enhanced. The main thing that bugs me is that it is very easy to mod your guns or shall i say uber weapon mod hacks that will overkill the game. Other than that the game is one of the games that I have been waiting for in awhile,but it is more leaned towards a console fps/rpg game.

Ha what? It's just like those games. You talk to person A, get a quest. Go do a quest, turn it in, get a reward, rinse and repeat. You level up your character classes, have different types of items with the exact same color scheme (white, green, rare, epic, legendary). Customizable skill trees and even monsters that are too high level to kill have a skull over their head. All features exactly like in WoW.

The only bugs I've run into are ones in co-op.  Controls feel just like a stand fps, ala UT3. The guns feel really good in my opinion, all them feel unique.

yeah I replayed the game gets better at lvl10 and over but for the most part it's featureless compared to a normal PC games .

I really have to believe there an actual deliberate effort being made to make PC games the same as console to stop people from wanting to buy PC versions of the games so that console manufactures can have more control over pricing ,

btw sf2 would have been €120 +/- axelay €90 +/-

I got this game a few weeks ago, and it's still incredibly fun and addictive. I also noticed that the Lilith the Siren and Roland the soldier are the 2 most popular characters and i always see people playing as them, i'm actually the only person i know who decided to make a primary character out of the hunter, probably because he is a great support character, and many people would much rather go guns blazing, by themselves. Anyway, this is a great game that i love playing with friends.

I heard that this game was mostly developed for the pc , so since the 360 and pc have the same layout the frame rates are the same, but for the ps3 it tends to lag is this true people who may have both for 360 n ps3 or who have played both ? I don't know if it was "developed for the pc" or not, but it is a great game on the 360 I know for sure. I haven't played it on the PS3, so I can't comment on it, but I'm willing to bet it's just as good.

Yeah. PC was their lead platform on this one. Then again, this is 2K and PC is always their lead.

But about PS3 having a drop in FPS - that's bull. The PS3 version has better (better as in, you didn't notice until I pointed that out, and you'll still barely notice any difference) visuals, though. And the texture loading when changing areas is dramatically faster.

Yes the review was accurate execpt for this frame-rate issue, in big battles even on the PS3 there is a little stint in the FPS, but nothing that ruins the game though at the same time should be addressed since he disturbs the flow of the game.
