Why on earth do people make such a big deal about this guy? Half the time Craig Owens can't even hit his own notes, holds the mic further away when he messes up, or just lets the crowd do all of the work. I don't understand any of the hype around this guy at all... sure I've heard way worse and over all he's a decent singer but he's no where near as good as many of the vocalists he's often compared to [ie. Anthony Green and Jonny Craig.]

Wrong... although I understand what you're trying to say in Craigs case he holds the mic away because he knows that he isn't able to hit the note. It's the same reason he always holds the mic out to the crowd on certain parts of the song. Granted touring can be very tiring but in the end you either can hit your notes live or you can't and time and time again Craig has proven to be just a studio vocalist.
