  • Your going through a tough time and I can't imagine what your going through. I'm not going to say I understand because I truely don't. But I think Jack would want you to move on and be happy again and no you probably won't find another horse as good as him but there is another horse out there willing to make you happy. I hope things turn out well. Message me if you need to talk. Oh, and just remember " When the going gets tough, you just have to get tougher"

  • It takes time. As long as you take it slow and not rush into anything. Then im sure one day youll find the horse that feels right to you. Perhaps youre looking to much into all these younger and high jumping horses. Try some older ones that arnt nececarrly perfect for showing but ones that can give you the happyness back into riding and owning and bring that sense of belonging and partnership back to you thats much more important then eventing.

  • Honestly, you look great....I think you just need a break; some time off from riding since Jack passed away so recently, your mind and body are probably just trying to find that familiar feeling you had when you were on Jack, and since all these horses are new and strangers to you, you're starting to get defeated because you can't find it....yet.

Please don't give up, you're so talented. ):

  • dude...you quit?

  • the right horse is out there waiting you just have to go and find him!Dont base ur search on looks or how they have placed in shows look for a horse that you think u could get along with!

  • i do the exact same thing to myself. i have the worst confidence in myself which carries over to my riding. horses have a 6th sense. they can tell when you're scared, happy, not paying attention. so when i didn't feel strong enough, or when i felt like a complete failure my horse would take off or do things that normally wouldn't go on. you're a great rider and i think you just need to take some time off. if that's what you need to do then go ahead, i know i support you.

  • Your a great rider, and it's only been awile since Jack's passing. But I do believe that in time, you will find the right horse. I know, you will never find one like Jack, who could hold a partnership like you and Jack had, but you may find one who could help slowly fill the hole that he has left. It may be tough, buying a horse is never easy, but your an inspiration to us all, and an amazing rider . You are a great person, and in time, you will find a great horse. You deserve it.

  • you might just need to take some time off from riding to sort out what happened. Whatever you decide though to ride or not to ride we will support your decision, we didn't know jack and are not the ones who rode him everyday, most of us don't know how you feel right now, in the end just know that if you do decide to quit most of us will understand.

    RIP Jack <3

  • i'm in new jersey and i know that its really hard to find the right horse for you after losing one that you such a good conection with, but dont give up maybe the reason your finding it so hard to find the right horse is becasue its to soon? maybe just spread the word your looking and not push so hard to find something because ik from my experance that when your looking really hard you dont usally find what it is your looking for but when you stop looking and breath the right horse will find you

  • may!!! you look awesome on this one!! and she has really nice changes!! you should really consider her, i see a ton of potential here!! :D

  • you are a great rider, don't quit. try looking at horses that aren't "jumpers".. horses that just kind of jump around and can do the jumpers because these horses all look like they are pulling on you and just pulling you out of the tack and running around, and you're not a big person so its very understandable. you will find something. if you need to take a break thats very understandable, message me if you want because i am having a kinda similar problem. just dont quit, youre too good

  • You owning/jumping horses are meant to be. It might be hard from what you have been through, but you've gone too far to put your dreams away.

  • You don't look bad riding her.... I always thought you were handling all the new horses you tried and put the videos up on you tube very well. So have you really quit riding? Because if you have I'm really sorry about it.

  • Girl, I know that losing Jack makes you feel like you can't feel anymore, but think about what kind of person he knew you as; kind, gentle, strong and a friend. Live your life and be the person jack knew you as. Be strong. Your an amazing rider who was born with the skills to succeed. Every time I watch one of your videos I always think "God, I wish I could ride more like this girl". Be patient and don't rush things. Finding a life partner isn't going to be easy.

  • What you need to do is stop thinking you can't and think 'how can i make myself a better rider?' to where you can control the horses you get. and you actually look perfectly fine on all these horses, you're just new to them and every time you ride a new horse it might not be perfect. but you'll find a horse :)

  • @qhgirl531 no, i just choose not to put the clips off where i look like a complete idiot trying to hold onto a horse anyone else can ride but me.

  • @maymayrox then you need to go back to basics if it's really that bad, you look fine but hey, your the rider.

  • @qhgirl531 alright. try having your horse whom you can school around courses bridleless, then take him to a show and beast out the competetion, rank 6th place nationally in 3'6/3'9 childrens jumpers, a horse who is more human than horse and truly is the only horse that will ever be the perfect match creating the perfect team taken from you while you were on vacation and having nothing to do with the decision to put him to sleep, then at least trying to be strong and riding. well i tried. i quit.

  • @maymayrox ok, i have a horse like that now. and the first time i ever sat on him was when i was around a year old, still just a baby. ive been riding him ever since then and he's now 28, when he gets put down, that wont stop me from riding. even though horses cant talk or think like this, i bet your horse wouldn't want you to quit. you should think of your hard work as a way of making him happy...but i dont think anyone wants you to stop riding.

  • @maymayrox Hey, please don't give up. Maybe you need to take a break for a while until you are truely ready to look for another. No horse you find is going to compare to Jack, so you need to stop doing that. Horses, just like people, are different. They all have different good and bad qualities. Some of these horses have the potential to take you far and make it big. If you are not finding that perfect horse, then keep looking. It may take a year, but its a lot better than giving up.

  • @maymayrox I completely understand what you're talking about!- I tried out my friends level 7 jumper mare ,and i looked like a complete idiot trying to jump her! haha:)- the first little 2ft line i did with her she popped me out of the saddle and she hit me in the face with her neck..amazing horse..but soooooo much power lol:)

  • Dont give up yet, I know you'll find one thats right for you. It just may take time for you to realize which one. Maybe you cant control any of these horses yet, but maybe you just need time to click. :)

  • You might THINK its not meant to be but youre an amazinnggg rider and you just have to find a horse thats right for you, even though you look superrr good on her

  • @poniesRus247 besides the fact that i cant ride/control any horse i get on

  • Why isn't it meant to be?? You look AMAZING on her!

  • you look great on her! (: hang tight girly !

  • u look great on her and it is meant to be we all have our rough times but you are EXTREMELY talented and gifted dont give up

  • Don't say that you're not meant to own a horse and jump - you have incredible talent and it's not by accident! Just keep pusing on and it will all work out :) Maybe a little break will help you evaluate things and remind you how great riding is. Just follow your heart!

  • This one is stunning! I saw your fb status, maybe you'll feel differently if you have a few weeks off horses? I'm absolutley sure you are ment to own and ride horses! Dont give up, a break might do you good. Whats happend to you is awful but you will get through it, after all you have your very own gaurdian angel looking out for you now :) xx

  • i LOVE her! you will definitely find the right horse eventually. you and jack had an incredible bond and its going to take time to find that again. i had an incredible bond with a horse i leased a long time ago and i didnt think i would ever find it again. but i did. and you will too! i know this video was short but im a sucker for bay mares....

  • wow what a mare : ) stay strong girl : / I know its hard but not riding would just make it worse

  • you look great! hold your head high girl (: you're gonna make it through this (:

  • Hahaha LOVE that second to last jump WHOOSH airborne;)
