As I commented earlier: What a unique voice Inconomou has. Listen to his trills, to the way he shapes the first phrase until "gekränkte Seelen", and to the power he developes in "Der Held aus Juda siegt mit Macht". This is a true victory.

The young alto, Panajotis Iconomou, has since become a bass with a beautiful voice. He represented Greece in the Cardiff Singer of the World competition and has taken part in John Eliot Gardiner's Bach cantatas project, among other things.
