Hi there. Great videos. I particularly like the Python ones as that's what I'm leaning. This video was an excellent explanation of the financial crisis. However, you glossed over the root cause, which was IMHO the Carter/Clinton regulations (Community Reinvestment Act) forcing banks into lending to ethnic minorities. They had good intentions, and the banks were horribly discriminatory in the past, but the distortion of the market ultimately resulted in the fiasco we see today.
@daithewine I could talk forever about how each president contributed to this nightmare. Clinton as you said is very much to blame as are both Bush's and Obama. I tried to avoid becoming political because I think both parties are to blame. I just want to hear one politician explain how they are going to fix this situation. (Crickets)
@derekbanas Thanks Derek. I'm waiting for the solution also... :-\. Besides that, I'm working on a web-scraper, my first program at *41* years of age! Your tutorials have been invaluable. It's rough and ready, but if/when I get it to work, I'll make a tribute video and post it on you tube! ;-)
