  • Haha, the Parisian accent comes out when she says, "By the cut of your suit" lol..aww...can't wait to hear her American accent if Tim Burton EVER DECIDES TO RELEASE THE DARK SHADOWS TRAILER!

  • So as charming as you are Mr. Bond I will be keeping an eye on our government's money and off of your perfectly shapred ass.

    You noticed?

Even accountants have imagination. How was your lamb?

    Skewered.

  • I watch this with a sense of smug satisfaction as I look down at my Rolex Air King; like Tag Hauer, Omega spends too much on advertising, which is why the only other watch worth mentioning near the same league of Rolex is Patek Philippe.

  • @fpsBeaTt Omega's are actually better timepieces. Rolex retains their value better because everyone, everywhere has heard of Rolex.

  • @chrisfromoh that is baseless and incorrect; the precision and quality of finish does not approach that of Rolex, and has been universally accepted by all critics and reviewers. Omega make beautiful watches; they just don't compete on the same level as Rolex. If Omega made better watches, I would have purchased one; they don't, so I didn't.

  • Pity Omega spends so much time marketing their name and have all but forgotten their watches ever since their Speedmaster.

  • man i bet when they made this scene the directors and the watchers were smiling

  • ◆J'adore les James Bond. Ne se sentaient pas Chateau Angelus sont apparus sur la scène et le Vesper.

  • The best scene in an ok Bond film. Eva Green is my type of woman if I was a man.

  • James Bond meets Modesty Blaise

  • Damned that was hot! Forget about the lamb!

  • I think it is very safe to say that more than just the lamb was skewered, perhaps his pride?

  • @OpheliaBookworm uh....that was the whole point of that statement.

  • did anyone else notice Bond's awesome wine-pouring skills at 1:07? I just love a man who knows how to pour wine!!

  • @MsDDiddy oh yeah? I can pour wine out of a bottle without spilling a drop.

  • @RealTalkOnlyBro pssht Bond would NEVER brag about his wine pouring skills.

  • Does anyone else think Daniel Craig is Hot!? No Homo!!!

  • @Maloperverso Just because you say, no homo, doesn't mean you're not a homo.

  • 3:18

That's actually fake. Every rolex have a crown around 0/12 hour area. Because Vesper is a women of taste who knows this kind of stuff, she would straight away notice it or not, so she wouldn't make a mistake in such a simple and easy case.

  • "skewered... one sympathizes." Brilliant.

  • caught a flash of criminal minds right there. Hotch would approve..

  • I love this scene. Could be cause this girl is so hot, or cause I love the British accent.. .or both. All in all ... she so fine.

  • Daniel is not one off my favorite Bonds, but I liked him good in Casino Royale! He really do his version off Bond in a way that has never been done before. And most off the time it works. I didn`t like Quantum Of Solace though.. Hope Skyfire will be better :)

  • @Metaltherebel92 *skyfall

  • @TheNewMoon333 uhm, yeah. got it a little wrong there!

  • @Metaltherebel92 lol the movie is gonna be called skyfall, look it up XD

  • @TheNewMoon333 I know... I corrected myself and said I got it wrong. You didn`t read my comment good enough I guess.

  • @Metaltherebel92 lol no you didn't and no need to be an ass about it lol....and I didn't read it *well enough, lord you need some grammar help hahaha

  • @TheNewMoon333 Are you retarded dude? You even have no reason to why I didn`t say it, you just typed "lol no you didn`t". Again, I know I got it wrong and admitted it. I don`t see why this should be such a problem to realize. And talk about which person who needs grammar lessons, your spelling isn`t perfect either you douche. I don`t care if my grammar isn`t pefect anyway, english isn`t my first language.

  • @Metaltherebel92 XD we sir are on two different mind sets

  • 1:18 Trophy/Achievement unlocked: suit that makes the man

  • Randy.... i AM the liquor.

  • "so that's what you would call bluffing?" ".....shut up bitch"

  • "Skewered. One sympathises."

    Lol

  • and then they had sex

  • Having just met you, I wouldn't go as far as calling you a cold hearted bastard - of course not

  • Love Bond and the Bond Girls.Every Man's dream to have his life style and dream girls.

  • @alan57137 who doesn't?

  • @alan57137 i'd like his lifestyle minus the whole killing people and almost getting killed myself part.

  • love her accent, hair , figure and eyes. She is just a doll

  • Rolex?

    Omega.

    Beautiful.

I wonder how much money went behind those three words.

  • @nioor I've wondered that a few times lol, bond watches of the past were rolex and it does begger the question....just how much have omega bunged them to get a foot in the door?! that said the seamaster and speed master are damn nice!!

  • @nioor around 100k for the watches. The gils smile is priceless so I's say it round up to 1.6 million.

  • Great moment. Not as pretty as the last few Bonds, Craig's 007 has to use charm to get the ladies into the bedroom. This scene shows him parlaying better than any man alive, there's no way Vesper can resist! The Omega product placement sticks out something horrible though, Jesus!

  • @leighjnicholls

    Not really.

    What watch are you wearing?

    (you say the brand name)

    AHA! THAT'S PRODUCT PLACEMENT!

In real life we talk in brand names without any fuss, and so it was here. She even mentions Rolex, which Bond dismisses with a competitor.

It's a lot better this way than what they could have done - with Bond glancing at his watch, cut to juicy well-lit close-up of his Omega clock-face.

  • love this section of the movie!

  • think im in love

  • backhand to the face bond! Keep her in check! Know ur role bitch!

  • I am the MONEY

    Every PENNY of it

    Miss MONEYPENNY!

  • @aguscao You deserve an award for that. wow I'm actually doubting if anyone in the film knew about that. thumbs up for you.

  • eva green for president!

  • @headache88 Yes !!!

  • I suddenly feel the need to buy an Omega watch, so I can be half as cool as Craig.

  • @crazyrabbits or you can be cooler than Craig and get a Rolex, like me ;)

  • i almost raped my cat when i first saw her

  • @hiephoi058 LOOOOOOL WHAT ????

  • Comment removed

  • Is it me or are her eyes almost too big for her face!

  • I almost came in my pants when I first saw her!

  • For a second, I read that as "The über slutty Vesper Lynd" I was like, what?

  • Reminds me of the North by Northwest flirtation scene

  • Daniel Craig is a boss

  • every penny of it

  • and that, ladies and gentlemen, is brain sex.

  • @seattle2philly You've worded it better than me. Thanks! ;-)

  • @iakynthi thanks indeed! :-)

  • @seattle2philly and that comment made me spit my beer out in laughter - how true!

  • Vesper: " i suppose you've given some thought to the notion that if you lose, our government will have directly financed terrorism"

    Bond: :S

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • Spot the product placement.

  • @ptpt1 Yes, but it fits very well here

  • Both of them effortlessly stylish, charming and sexy. And so noble towards each other, can't get better than that!

  • This scene alone proves to me that you can't work on sexual chemistry between two people. It's either there straight from the beginning or it doesn't exist at all. No complicated theories, no nonsense.

  • Possibly my favorite scene

  • VESPER: Rolex? BOND: Omega.

  • Bestpart i love

  • Eva Green simply devine. This scene is awesome love it ;)

  • This scene was intended as a homage to the Cary Grant & Eve Marie Saint train scene in Hitchcock's North by Northwest

  • The girl is very sexy and has a beautiful face

  • i agree

  • Vesper: I'm the money . . . Bond: every penny of it. So, it's a pun on Moneypenny (M's P.A.)?

  • @aikikenshin Too bad she dies. XD

  • @aikikenshin no...its just another way of saying "You're beautiful". This film doesn't reference anything, it follows the book and Fleming's character

  • @aikikenshin clever if you spotted that. What worries me is if the script writers did. :S

  • Omega FTW

  • the funny part is, she isnt english

  • @airsofter1198 WHAT?!

  • @Defiance0x not in the movie, the actress isnt english

  • DAMN Eva is so gorgeous in this scene. I couldn't stop staring at her when I first watched the movie.

  • Either of these two would have my pants off within a minute.

  • @XDXDXDXDXDXDXD That's why you'll never truly get to experience that type of situation.

  • @SenzafineEterno 1. My comment was a joke (or perhaps more a hyperbole). 2. This "type of situation" is scripted, so no, I doubt I will ever find myself in that type of situation, because I don't live in a movie. 3. Get off your internet high horse and troll somewhere else.

  • ssskwered....

  • now THAT is sexual chemistry between actors.

  • @AlanDawaDolma57 En quoi ce film est-il un échec exactement?

  • @RvLver un scénario trop décousu et des scènes d'actions très pauvres sauf au tout début.

  • How do they not overdose on each other's sex appeal???

  • @nkULTRA007 I always wonder how attractive actors can work with eachother and keep focussing on their work. It must be hard. But on the other hand, in Hollywood they're probably used to it.

  • I have no more armor.

  • Omega is the big winner here.

  • best bond girl ever.

  • They just profiled each other. The BAU would be proud ;D

  • She is stunning

  • You noticed? Lol

  • @mrsamster oh yh

  • Lol my dad just got that omega watch in his 50 year old bday

  • i'm the MONEY every PENNY of it.

has no one else put two and two together?

  • @MrSamster911 ok i just told two ppl they should win an award for spotting that and that it worries me that the writers even knew about it. But your very clever if you spotted it.

  • Daniel Craig as bond, all class

  • @gtN1 Perfectly-formed class.

  • This scene instantly proved that Daniel Craig is a fantastic Bond. Handsome, charming and suave. This is an adult's conversation between two adults. Had Brosnan been involved in this scene, Brosnan would have acted smug, immature and almost insulting towards Vesper. This scene alone is better than anything from the Brosnan era.

  • @CorsetGirl91 Brosnan: "Hmmm, YES....." :P I loved this part of the movie, Bond meets his match... the wordplay was so good that you could've thrown in multiple Bond films, and you would find NOTHING as nearly clever as this conversation. It's a shame that in reality we guys lack the capacity to NOT think with our dicks for 5 seconds -_- Craig must've been high....

  • @FreakyKong

Don't be silly :P talking about your sex that way. Men are very intelligent creatures. Well... the ones I hang around with anyway ;D

  • @MYV382N Well, that just means that they "know" how to get what they want, alot more than others. : ) I could say the same for women. They are well-aware of men and they play the tamer to us lions really well to the point that it frustrates us ^_^;

  • @CorsetGirl91

Brosnan belongs to another era. He is outdated.

  • @MYV382N Brosnan doesn't belong to another era. Brosnan belongs out of James Bond. He should have never had anything to do with it. He killed James Bond, and led a generation of fans to believe that he is Bond in anyway. Luckily, good old Danny Craig is fixing that now. If only the Brosnan idiots would fuck off.

  • @CorsetGirl91

Well darling that is what we in the real world would call an 'opinion'. As far as I'm concerned many people adore Brosnan- who are you to say he never belonged to James Bond? To a lot of people, he MADE the role. I personally hate him and adore Danny but I'm not so deluded as to say Brosnan never had his time. He fit his 'era' very well.

  • @CorsetGirl91

Hmm - lol - let me try:

    VESPER: "I'm the money"

BROSNAN: "I think I'm about to deliver the 'money shot'"

VESPER: "There's an option for an extra £5 million if I deem it a prudent investment"

BROSNAN: "A part of me wants to make a 'prudent investment' right now ;)"

  • Im a huge watch freak. it interesting that she asks if hes wearing rolex. normally, bond would be wearing a rolex according to the books. however, he is wearing omega. a fantastic watchmaker. so cool they threw that in there.

  • At 0:13-0:18,it looks like they are referring to Moneypenny(The secretary to M).

  • I loved Her accent! And she is soooo blooody Beautiful!!!!

  • I love this scene. havent watched it in a while. I was smiling unitl I noticed her necklace....

  • every penny of it

  • You noticed.

  • this is the stuff good movies are made of.

  • Eva Green ... I know this is unorthodox ... but I'm proposing. Will you marry me?

  • @phijjjjo reeeeeeeejected!

  • I reckon this is one of THE sexiest movie scenes ever, and it achieves this with no flesh or bits showing. Maybe its because the balance of power between them is equal. Craig has one of the most divine masculine voices there is - he should be doing audiobooks! It's also the characters and dialogue they have been given, savvy and playful.

VL I'm going to keep my eyes on our government's money - and off your perfectly

    formed arse.

    JB You noticed.

    VL Even accountants have imagination...

    GOLD!

  • the best bond and bond girl ever the best cast and my all time classic Bond

  • I love this sheen!!!!

The way bond serves a wine for Vesper....it shows how sophisticated a true man should treat his girl.

  • i love this scene! vesper's one cold calculating woman, charm and wit. attractive and gave as good as she got. bond's clearly impresses. i honestly think that eva's by far the best bond girl and i love daniel craig as bond, he's cute and hot! ;p

  • They're both such great actors and did incredibly well in this movie. One of the cool things I noticed about Daniel Craig is that he has the perfect facial expressions. He does it so well and is really subtle when he needs to be. I read about people "communicating" with their eyes but never saw it or understood it until I saw him in this. Eva Green is just as great and so composed and precise in a natural way. They both were great in this together and I hope they make at least another together.

  • I love vesper!! She's smart and confident.

  • Casino Royale is one of those underrated film that's deserves really an Oscar; going by this scene I'd say best supporting actress. Beautiful.

  • Someone give her a mother fucking Oscar

  • It's funny to see someone who comes across as cold and detached as Bond, of course this all changes later on in the film. Vesper is no dummy and she gives as good as she gets in this scene.

  • This movie has been out for almost 4 years. I don't understand why they don't allow it's upload, everybody has it on DVD sort of.

  • Or twice!

  • Man vesper is cold and calculating and freakin hot, think i'm in love with that bitch!! But yes a great scene indeed Bond held his own nicely kept his cool but i'm sure he was thinkin rapest thoughts about her fuck i am!! Love the James Bond movies every single one of them i own them all! :-) shit i might

Have a prob i think! Lol ahh fuckin it we only live once!

  • There weren't enough scenes like this in "Quantum of Solace."

  • brilliant. i love this film and this scene.

  • Love his suit!! But the cut is Italian, not British

  • I think it´s the best scene in the whole film...who agrees?

  • @medknower Oh I agree--in fact I would argue best in the whole series.

  • @medknower That's in a league far superior than most are use to, and capable of. It's a great scene. I suppose its a good thing those types of encounters are rare, even in movies. Naturally it makes the situation that much more special when you are lucky enough to experience them.

  • @medknower

I'm not sure - but it is surely one of the best dialogue scenes in all of James Bond movies.

    4 minutes of pure class.

  • By far my favourite part in any Bond film. :D

  • Lynd: "Rolex"?

    Bond: "Omega".

    Lynd: "Beautiful."

  • If only every bond film had as much class as this one.

  • BEST...BOND GIRL.....EVER!!!!!

  • Feels like Ian Flemming himself wrote it. Spot on piece of script and acting.

  • dont like her voice - sounds like its constipated

  • Love the look at the end.. "I'm gonna get that."

  • i'm in love with her...

  • I think she has quite simply THE best voice/accent ever

  • 'skewered...I sympathise'

  • @indusvalleytrooper i dont get that part..

  • @sportyjen62 She asks how the lamb was and he says 'skewered... one sympathizes'. He sympathizes because he has just been skewered by her sharp wit and her sophistry, Its his way of saying 'you owned me, unlike other people I exchange pleasantries with, this turns me on.'

  • @sportyjen62 "Skewered. One sympathizes." His lamb was served skewered, as in a kebab. He felt the same way about Vesper's comments, as if he as skewered by her remarks. Hence the sympathy towards the lamb.

  • @sagan1976 At least that's what i got from it. Worse is "Close is a lingerie shop without a front window." from Lethal Weapon 3.

  • cada centavo :D [dialogo épico

  • 5 people are retarded

  • Possibly one of the best dialogue scenes in Bond history.

Oh Vesper you were perfect for James.......what could have been

  • "Prickly demeanor" lol
