When many Native Americans took offence to the Cleveland Indians Logo, people ridiculed the idea that it was offensive because "they" were not personally offended by it. That's simply an unwillingness or inability or people to understand that their perspective is not universal. It's also a lack of respect for others.

They're right. Not all the signs are racist. Most are, but not all. But they're all vile and hateful. Some based on religion, others just personally offensive. These people claim Christian values, but you wouldn't know it by their behavior. It's sad that these individuals are teaching their children, anyone with whom they disagree is not to be respected. These people claim Christian values, but you wouldn't know it by their behavior. It's sad that these individuals are teaching their children, anyone with whom they disagree is not to be respected. I presume that not all Tea Party members condone this type of behavior.__ But few if any, will publicly denounce it. That speaks volumes.
