@theyamaharider4life depends if you want it for trail rideing or tracks and jumps if you want one for trail rideing go with the crf250r i find where the honda is a little bigger its more easy to controal but the yz250f is better for such things as jumps or tracks

@tommyxx1998t too small for the 250f. id say a ktm 105 would be perfect for you go with that. 85cc would fit pretty good too. Id go to your local dealer and sit on the bikes and ask the dealership whats best for you

i think the reason they stop importing 2stokes 2 the US is b/c the government says its bad 4 the environment but i ride both and i think it's kewl for 2 stokes and 4 stokes but i have 2 say I love the sound of a 2 stokes.

@Gater1337 actually believe it or not 2 strokes run cleaner then the 4 strokes last winter when i was working for the oil field we were running 4 stroke sleds and 2 stroke sleds and we did a test and the 2 strokes were running cleaner then the 4 strokes

@MrRshelp4u oohhh i see... which one is better or more fun all depends on preference and person perspective on bikes, 2 strokes are fast when you get them on the pipe but lack low end causeing them to only have good power in the high rpm's, 4 strokes on the other hand have a more broad power band which gives them more low end and power all through the rpm's. what you like is none of my business but for me 4 strokes are the way to go....

@TheHammer209 i think you just prefer 2 smokers..i had 2 smokers for years when i was growing up but i now prefer the 4 stroke pwr..xr's were cool but just had no mid or top end..and as for way cheaper,i did 300hrs on my last yzf with one piston change..so there not expensive..,only thing i miss is the speed you can carry into corners on 2 stroke....but 4's have it on mid and exit speed sorry...if 2 smokers were better for racing more private guys would use them..id like to have both...

I think its funny how people argue about the whole 2 stroke 4 stroke thing. theyre both bad ass. It depends on your riding style. I have bdeen riding for a long time. bothe 2 and 4 strokes and noy i have an 08 yz 4505f and honestly i miss the zip the 2 strokes have but the 4 strokes make up for it on the bottom end torque when it comes to hill climbing and things like that.

@minimike99005 I know what you mean, different riding styles. I own a 4t and a 2t. The 2t design is much better for MX racing, and most racing in general as it makes more power, weighs less, and is much more reliable.. The 4t is good for trail riding where you want low end power and good gas mileage and they are reliable in non-high tuned applications. But soon enough the 2t will have all the low end power and gas mileage of the 4t thus making the 4t useless.(direct injection)

Motox seems to take a back seat too design compared to Euro Enduro bikes when you look at the history of design behind them not bagging the Jap bikes but they just seem a bit slow in new design into a production dirt bike. the jap enduro bike tend to be hay lets put a six speed box and a number plate on it and then its a enduro bike.

And a battery plus an electric starter motor which means adjusting the motor to make it actually work extra wiring redesign of the air box because of the battery and in some cases enduro bikes have bigger springs in them plus a different muffler because of public sound regulation blinker and light set up handle bar switches to control the lights and a horn.

I dont think the Japanese just go and shove a six speed gearbox in a race bike and sell it as an enduro bike.
