bad enuf graphics but its still realy realy fun and you never ever get lag no matter how big your army is i never had 1 touch of lag and i had 6000 men vs 3000 men :/
Oh, an interesting point of view - because the graphics are.. So what? Also, have you played both games to compare them? I suggest you try both games before you give opinions like this. What's more, I find it quite interesting to compare two entirely different games.
Man...I was probably looking forward to playing this game more than anyone, and now I have to uninstall it due to an annoying and constant problem in the game that the support staff didn't help me solve. *sigh*
Wow, thanks. Basically, I get great frame rates in the game and everything installed fine. But, when I move my mouse around while in the game-no matter where- the game slows down. For example: A musketeer is reloading, and when my mouse is in motion the musketeer reloads slower, units move slower, and resources income also slows down a bit. The strange thing is, as long as my mouse is still, the game runs great and units move fluidly, even during huge battles with lots of units on the screen.
Windows XP Home Edition. I've tried basically everything, from hardware acceleration, mouse settings, updating all my drivers for everything, system defrags and clean ups, and virus scans. I also noticed that my mouse flickers when it is in motion in the game. It also does this in Cossacks 1, which I believe uses the same game engine as American Conquest. But it does not happen in any other game.
Where did you get that information from? Napoleon did employ all the formations of that era, line column, square. It's the tactical situation that justifies the use of a certain formation... So infantry would go to battle in column, deploy in line for musketry and form squares to repel cavalry charges or attacks from many sides.
Yet stating that Leipzig's in Germany was a bit foolish. Remember it was in Saxony which later became a part of the German empire that was founded subsequently to Napoleon'S perdition.
The German territories, even though they were divided into hundreds of smaller states shared the same German language and culture. The term "Germany" I used does not refer to the centralised state we have today, but to that large entity of states with German identity ;) Glad you liked the video though :)
Ye, the thing is that with distance the casulties decreese due to damage decreese and accuracy loss. So if they fire later the casulties would have been alot greater.
American Conquest: Fight Back with European Warfare Modification. We play that gae online. You can find our website in the video information in the upper right corner.
Wow, a instant classic! Well done with the choreography of the movement of generals and officers. Great selection of music, well timed. The attacks are splendid as well. Hope many see this and wish to try their hand at your map Leipzig!

cannons in two rows ? :-)))
this is game for 8 yrs old
ps.
the graphics are cool
ArseneLupin2009 2 years ago
Cannons are in two rows to allow more firepower to be concentrated on one spot thus frightening enemies.
PhilipineMan 2 years ago
so put them in 30 rows. I don't know if it will frighten anyone, but I am sure it will scare the living daylights out of their own gun-crews :-)

Vor allem da man bei einer Verwundung entweder langsam verblutet wäre oder das verletzte Glied amputiert worden wäre.
Allerdings starb man damals als Soldat noch eher an Krankheiten oder Infektionen als in einer Schlacht.

1024Mb's DDR2 RAM

I understand why the French fought in squares and all...but the British/Allied Line was FAR better. Why didn't Napoleon use it?

theaceman1997 2 years ago
And what's your strategy? ^^
As for FF, the soldiers won't fire at the mob containing friendly troops unless they're allowed to do so by pressing a button on the interface.
