@wiseandnice Sam just returned from Washington DC where he went to Capitol Hill to ask that Senators and Congressmen support more funding for research for Nephrotic Syndrome. We are working to help find a cure.

I'm now 17 and training to be a United States Marine now, and i've never looked (and felt) better. I love this guy! When i saw him singing it made me so happy because he is so cute and it did make me laugh. hehe. Oh thank the lord he's doing well. I'm 18 now and I had to take prednisone when I was 15 till I was about 17. I had a form of skin disease that inflamed my skin and made me constantly get cysts. I know how much it can hurt someone, but also how it can help as well. Please tell Sam I send my deepest regards to him for what he's doing. He's an inspiration for everyone and I hope to see that one day people will realise how wrong and unjust it is to make fun of someone like Sam. God bless

Your son is such an inspiration to me to just keep trying and push through everything. Nothing can compare to how Sam has to go through an ongoing condition. Oh thank the lord he's doing well. I'm 18 now and I had to take prednisone when I was 15 till I was about 17. I had a form of skin disease that inflamed my skin and made me constantly get cysts. I know how much it can hurt someone, but also how it can help as well. Please tell Sam I send my deepest regards to him for what he's doing. He's an inspiration for everyone and I hope to see that one day people will realise how wrong and unjust it is to make fun of someone like Sam. God bless

@HannahEAllred People don't make fun of Sam, they didn't know he was sick. If they knew he was sick they wouldn't make fun of him (Atleast I hope not)
Anyone who makes fun of a sick kid ought to be sterilised!

@HannahEAllred Thank you so much. I'm doing alot better. I've been off prednisone for quite awhile. It's basically gone now. Your son is such an inspiration to me to just keep trying and push through everything. Nothing can compare to how Sam has to go through an ongoing condition. I just wish everyone else could understand.

Sam seems like a super lovely child. He is a compassionate, personable and intelligent boy. Yes he does have a condition that is terrible but no challenge is insurmountable!!! Good luck to you and your family. The world is definitely a better place with people like Sam in it. I hope that I am able to raise my son to be so wonderful.

Just because I go to a private school doesn't necessarily mean that I'm some girl genius. Public school kids are extremely smart too. Don't label or judge without proof and please get your story straight.

@techfighterminal Your story, quite frankly, isn't straight. I know many more people that can write better than me and they attend public schools. It's called plain and simple paying attention in English class. They teach it in EVERY school smart one, you just have to listen and learn the lessons they are teaching.
