Every time I hear this theme, watching the game's ending, I am reminded of just how mortal we all truly are. That each life is but a footnote to humanity's providence. It's in this instance that I realize what Dr. Beruga saw and desired. To not be forgotten, to continue to see the world for what it could have been. He was wrong only for the path he chose and for what he planned for humanity in his grasp.
I think that this game, along with Illusion of Gaia, Soul Blazer and MOTHER series and its OST, is more christian than those few "christian" games and songs "God/Christ love us", result silly. We have a beautiful world and a beautiful universe, we must by nature love between us and each being/thing. These games have changed me the point of view about the world and universe. Thanks by making these games.
Terranigma is the best game i´ve ever played! and i play a lot... i hope there will never be any part 2 or something this game is unique and it has to stay as what it is: best game ever. nice music by the way could enjoy hole day =)
We humans are very strong creatures, able to transcend, so much pain in our lives on Earth...if we choose to. This song reminds me of all the endless chances for growth one has. I know we humans aren't here for nothing. There is an invisible force behind the genuine acts of love on this harsh classroom known as Earth. We are all God's children with our own right to glory. Strive to release your suffering by seeing things as God does... with love. It will ALWAYS be worth it. Power and love to u
Terranigma is one of THE most legendary Games in the history if you ask me u know why? Because right now I'm going to play it right now, even it is very old it is just undescribable beautiful :)
@crazyfute well... thats the beautiful thing about the Genre "RPG" which i love. RPGs are in my opionion the only games which contain a real story which moves your mind aswell as your feelings.
... showing you different sides of a cube which you never looked at. Its as ZENX49 said... Dr. Buruga wasnt that "bad" he just choosed the wrong way to fulfil his which for humantiy. Without all the background story he would have just been the Mad Scientist who wants to own the world right? :)
I agree with you Heyjo, the good old times... this music wakes so many memorys *-* awesome, a cold rush runs down my back not just one time while listening to this music. (donut know if its correct english, i am from germany, sorry ^^").
The last scene is so moving... good ol' SNES games when most had quality in sound and storyline. Today, beautiful graphics, but perhaps less of beautiful music....
One of the most beautiful endings to any game ever.

Tenchi Souzou is the Japanese name of this game, not the composer's name. The composers are Miyoko Kobayashi and Masanori Hikichi.

@Marratoschka
same here
never played a game thats so damned awesome and epic like terranigma.
i mean i'm shivering right now just because of all the memories the music gives me.
all the fancy new games which look like a animated films suck asses in comparison so this game.
nobody needs ultra realistic graphics, this game is the proof.

This game has some great music compositions.
This and the Crysta theme are my favourite... wait, I guess this sort of is the Crysta theme, at least it sounds like it's the base part of the song.
I really love the track from 'Evegreen/Evergreen' as well. Most of the town themes in the game are brilliant, now that I think of it.

This song is extremely beautiful. As is the ending it accompanies.

Speaking of IMutube, did it get fixed yet??? I don't want to go back to that horrible quality that youtube gives our videos.
