i think ALL versions of jasmin sound great. each country has found the perfect matching voice foe this beautiful woman. why decide when you don't have to?

it's really heart-touching that so many children in so many other countries have listened to these songs as we did. this is one of the most amazing feelings i know. really.

@sunshineinyoureyes03 Call me sexist or biased, but since the German language is a very rough and guttural language (Guttural here having the meaning of harsh-sounding) and I've never thought of it as 'pleasing' on a woman. I'm am NOT knocking the German woman who provided her voice, nor am I mocking all the females in the world who DO speak German. I just think it's more aesthetically pleasing to hear a man speak the language versus a woman.

....But remember! That's just me. :)

I personally thought that the Russian, Turkish, Danish, English, Swedish, Croatian, French-Canadian, and Thai versions demonstrated the strongest quality of the voice, and the most overall 'pleasing' sounds.. But the English is still the best, and wanna know why?

Because without the original, there wouldn't be any others. :)

The original doesn't have to be the best, but what does it matter? The one you grew up with is always going to be the favourite in your heart, right? So it's very hard to come to a conclusion on which is really the best. They are all good^^

Okay, I'm from Hungary, and that's why hungarian is my best. But English is good too. I think the French version is the 3rd. Better than Japanese. It's a song (i think the 1st in my list :) ) what's gos only in Hungarian Language. Jasmine's voice is Kata Janza, from the Operett Theatre of Budapest. (sorry for my bad englsih, but i'm only in the 8th class of the elementary sclhool. :) )

That's not completely true. The quality of some songs in here is worse than it is in the movie. Seeing how they use the same background track I doubt there would be much of a difference. Sometimes you just get hold of a bad track.

Some versions has really amazing Jasmine's voice. I love:

Cantonese - sweet voice

English - Well, Lea is good :)

Swedish - Myrra with Peter made one of the best versions "A whole new world" ;).

Polish - I can't be objective, because I grew with this version. Katarzyna Skrzynecka is amazing Jasmine for me.

Japanese - quite good voice

Mandarin - bit more matured voice, but I like it ;)

Thai - She has such sweet voice. Maybe better than her Cantonese counterpart ;)
