Thanks, again, for sharing your art. Best regards from Brazil.

Very interesting - I was prompted to search Alfonso Montes as I found the sheet music for Tiento Cancion Y Danza. This was "Chris Kilvington's Choice" a close family friend.
Wow, your performance as well as the piece itself is very beautiful and attractive. I'm also practicing it in these days. I wonder what the behind story of this piece is. Can you tell me about it?
Thank you! Alfonso Montes told me the story behind it: he was forced to leave Venezuela after the "coup d'état" by Hugo Chavez. And this was composed thinking about closing the door to his house, sliding the door keys into the mailbox and knowing he would never return to see it again. It gives an idea how deep this is.
Thanks you for the advice, but as a mere fat fingered fumbler of the fretboard I try... one day in my dreams.I have read your comments on your meetings with Alfonso Montes, that just adds beauty to the piece.
This is my favorite of yours...I never get tired of hearing it. It seems like there is a magic that you add to every piece you do. You are truly spectacular and have been given a very rare gift.
Excelente ejecución maestro, es una composición bellísima que usted enriquece apoyado en los matices que proporciona su instrumento. Felicidades! dónde podria conseguir la partitura de ésta pieza ya que no la encuento por ningún lado... saludos

This is one of my all-time favorite guitar pieces but your performance of it is what makes it so special. Again I will say that aside from your mastery of the guitar, there is an indescribable essence - your soul perhaps? - that makes the music all the richer. You exude it, your love of it, and it is carried across to the listener. This is a rare gift. It brings me to tears of appreciation.
I hope you do decide to make a dvd, just like this video-nothing fancy. It'll sell!

What a master piece in the hand of such virtuoso!!! you came to this world with a special mission, and is to captive people and make them happy with your playing. I can see in your face how you surrender to music ...

Now, I have learned the classical guitar since 6 months ago and your playings are encouraging me to practice further more. You moved and touched deep inside of my heart. Even I would cry...
Thank you for sharing your calm but great wonderful performance.
A friend of mine asked me to see (hear) your playing of my Preludio de Adios and I must say that it is simply beatiful. Great sound and very good "duende".
It is a joy to hear ones music so beatiful played.
... Y pensar que yo le pedí a Pelle que interpretara esta pieza porque es muy hermosa. Gracias maestro por componer esta música. Es simplemente sublime.
Ah! Muchas gracias Maestro! What an honor to play for you and read your kind comment! I love your music and when Marieugenia (lunslunanueva) asked me if I would play it for her, I just fell in love with it (and her). It will be a part of my standard repetoir on my future concerts. I had to look up the word "duende" and now I am even more honored. Thank you for taking your time to listen to me. Please keep doing that.

But no, Peo, dare you tell us a bit about your recording equipment? Microphone, pre-amp, noise reduction, A/D convertion, ect...?
I noticed a bunch of these candyrat guitarist using a stereo microphone... I think it was a Rode NT4. I guess stereo mics are good to place where "a listener" would sit because they are made to simulate how we hear with our ears. Anyhow, Peo, you are top of the line!
I have a AKG C460 mic. attached to the camera. In my videoeditingsoftware (Pinnacle)I add some reverb via a plugin and that's it really... it's very simple. And... I have a good guitar and practice a lot to have a good sound from my nails...

Hey, I was born there too! I left when I was 8 years old and went to Florida for 23 years. Would you believe I don't know Spanish anymore! It only took about a year to forget it.
What a great piece. It would be relatively easy to learn the basics of it and a lifetime to master the intent of it as you have. Some days coming home and listening to a video of yours that I have not seen before feels like Christmas morning and a new train set.
Someone once told me that playing the blues is not about feeling sad - but more about celebrating the feelings a person has on the low end of the spectrum. When music is referred to as sad, I always think of it as pensive, as beautiful or as illustrative. I can't imagine trying to convey the opening of a morning flower with heavy metal. There is no sadness in this piece - just pensive beauty.
Thanks for the stars. :) No it's the same camera. I kind of like the widescreen more. I know it looks smaler, But then again, I'm ugly so please just listen!
As the giver of this song to us, you have to know this, often the "song" is our ony salvation, Peo, this interpretation has been my constant friend for days, I have listened to it over and over, and your interpretation. Know that all is not in vain, the song has been a needed medicine for my days ... continue my friend sharing the song...
Peo,the air around vibrates with your heartfelt notes, this is beauty itself, the space between the notes everything just in place like a natural puzzle. This is ART man and what a true joy to my ears. What do you think of my arrangement of Santana's "El Farol" please tell me Maestro,Victor.
LOL. I am not married. My my girlfriend is the one that made me do this. She is Venezuelan and told me about Montes. I will be grateful to her always! Beautiful music.
You have a great tone and your playing is excellent. You actually have color in your pieces, which is better in my opinion then being able to play Caprice No. 24 at break neck speed or any such piece for that matter. You have what few guitarists have, the ability to bring out the full dynamic range of the instrument. Keep up the good work!
P.S. You should learn Stélé by phillip houghton, you could do wonders with it.
Hi! thanks. THAT is exectly my idea about music: you have to want to tell a story with the music! Otherwise it's meaningless. And music is not a competition, it's ART and that is why I play. I am happy you can hear that!
Love this piece and your interpretation ... a fan here for sure ... also like the question before this, I would love to know the audio and video equipment you are using ... great prodution and such a warm and fitting sound ... thank you for all of the postings ... just all fabulous ... it's music ...
I agree. Gives the video a documentary feel....Titled kind of something like "Peo's Rise to Eminence" or "Peo Kindgren - Hypnotizing the Masses - Is he a danger?" I am thinking of filing a class action suit against Peo for millions of dollars because of the all the time have watched his videos. Somehow, drawn into them. :-)~
Hi there!! :-) What have I done now? I am just a humble guitarist trying to spread some music and here I am getting sued all the time! I am the most kind and humble person on this planet, and here I myself in deep trouble! Argh... sigh...
Hi my dear friend. LOL. "Peo goes to the movie" Ha! Please don't sue me!! I have no money!! :-( But please keep listening to me. It's nice to know you still are.
Alfonso Montes (b. 1955, Bolivar, Venezuela)is considered one of the leading musical personalities of his country, with many of his works published and recorded worldwide.
Yes Peo, we know that you know, and you know that we don't know, but you didn't know that we know that you know, thus you know that we'll ask to know about what we don't know. °_°
Yes Jean, I am glad you know that I know that we all know that I know that everyone know. Now I know! You know, I am happy we all know this!! LOL HAHAHA.
Peo, as a mere intermediate player at age 50, I have no time to waste. Thank you for inspiring me to challenge myself. I have grown so much since watching and listening to your videos. Nobody does it better.
It's good to know I can inspire! That's the best comments I can get. I hope you will keep playing as long as you are able to. The guitar and music is like honey to the soul...
Muy Bueno...

Thank you! Alfonso Montes told me the story behind it: he was forced to leave Venezuela after the "coup d'état" by Hugo Chavez.

Dear Donnie. Thank you for telling me this. I hope you are feeling better again. And I am honored you can/will use my guitar as "medicine".
Thank you!

Peo,the air around vibrates with your heartfelt notes, this is beauty itself, the space between the notes everything just in place like a natural puzzle. This is ART man and what a true joy to my ears. What do you think of my arrangement of Santana's "El Farol" please tell me Maestro,Victor.

Thank you Victor. I am very happy for your kind words. Oh! I love your El Farol!! Beautiful!! Thanks,

Thanks.

great Video Peo!

Hi there!! :-) What have I done now? I am just a humble guitarist trying to spread some music and here I am getting sued all the time! I am the most kind and humble person on this planet, and here I myself in deep trouble! Argh... sigh...

Please keep listening to me!
