just goes to show u that no matter what ur views are about the war over seas ppl do put their differences aside to not only say thank u but to pay their respects.
i was on the 401 today and a prosession drove passed with another fallen soilder, it made me feel very sad but it also made me feel very proud to be in this great country. god bless all who serve and my deepest sympathy to all the families FEB 3 2009
@mirrorangel1 but we arent united anymore ..we dont know what we fight for anymore..we see our own gov rape and kill and we let it go.. i dont see why anyone would want to be proud of this mess..
But we cant be holding it againt those that are stuck in it.. The have no choice but to have to still be there to defend it until there is an exit strategy.. Im sure there is not one that would be one the first plane out of there ... rather then a box. God bless each and every one.. How sad 2 days and a soldier would be home safe.. it just makes you cry for him and his family :(
Well done! Excellent journey down the road. I am glad that I had the opportunity to witness it through your eyes. I hope all will realize what sacrifices these young men make for our freedoms.
Thank you so much for posting this. Watching it made me cry for many reasons. Sorrow, sadness, pain - but also because I am very proud. These brace people fight for a cause that they truly believe in to the bottoms of their hearts and souls. To say that you want to take it back would be an injustice to everything that they believed in and fought for. RIP Andrew - you will be remembered always cuz. Jenn xoxo
I am proud to be Canadian. I attended the visitation today and I was honoured to have held Cpl. Andrew Grenon's Mom Theresa in my arms for quite a length of time and we cried silently as we were together. Please God Bless these men and women that serve our country and who fight these wars so our children will not have to.
this was a great video it makes me feel good that ppl support us soldiers. i am from windsor and hope to go to afghanistan. RIP Andrew grennon these are the ppl u sould look up to not movie stars but soldiers like Andrew
Btw, Andrew Grennon was a Windsor soldier who was killed in a Taliban attack On Sept 3rd 2008 in Afghanistan. RIP Grennon! :) You will always be remembered! :)

How Sad that soldiers are disrespected in their own country.

Stand on the Bridges and BE PROUD!!! Show the WORLD We are united as One!! No matter what nationality.

Canada puts Britain to shame, where dead soldiers hearses are spat at by muslims.

I found out tonight that Corporal Andrew Grennon was the nephew/cousin of some good friends of mine.
I'm very thankful to the poster of this vid that you were able to see his Honor guard/Procession down the Highway.
May he, and the other 96 that have been Killed in Action, rest in peace.
biggphartX 3 years ago 6
He's actually my cousin. If you've ever heard of Mark Oleynik, who was fireteam partners with Andrew Grennon, Well, they're my cousins.

I am sure that it is extremely difficult, I hope that I did them some justice for all that they have sacrificed for us, it could never be enough.
