this look is ok but it is NOT the flapper girl look. You have the lips ok but the eyes are way to much. Look at pics of some of thr real flappers hun.
Did flappers have owl looking eye lashes. You did a great job but it looks like you can't keep your eye open and I think flappers and long lashes but they were combed out and spread out to make the eye look more round. Flappers were still about innocence, not too dark.
@Mia007100 i was with ya till the part about flappers being about innocence lol!!! and false eyelashes have come a long way since the 20s, so yeah, they're bigger and heavier. this look is more of a "flapper archetype" than a historically accurate version.
Vamps were dark (Theda Bara) flappers were not necessarily so.
Think Gay: Gay is the opposite of Blue--we're not talking homosexual. Flappers were gay--(not homosexual, there are alternate uses of the word). Theda Bara was a Vamp, but Clara Bow was more the Flapper. This dark make up is not an accurate representation of the Flapper.
not to be rude or anything but that is WAY too much eye shadow. I have watched many flapper 20s movies and their makeup looks NOTHING like this! sorry...
LOVE< LOVE <LOVE this look! I really like the lip stick color but I couldn't find a site for graffiti cosmetics. Can you tell me more about it? This look is sooooo Beautiful on you! Please do another Dark eye shadow look! Thanks hun! :) :)
@mansongirlx so sorry about the late reply i haven't had the chance to be on here lately! i was researching their site and they are now nowhere to be found which completely sucks. but i would say go with a nice dark red with a hint of purple lipstick and it should do it! i will be doing more tutorials on darker looks!! thank you so much!
@rebeccahg261 yay i am glad i love this look it's fun to dress up and do something new!! by the way i have a contest happening right now you should enter! :)

nothing personal, but
her eyelids look like they weigh a ton, and u cant even see the white of her eyes.
i feel like my eyes are being weighed down as well - just by looking at them.

@Delila310 Well, I guess it's because it says flapper girl inspired instead of just flapper girl. But I do agree with you.
