I think we had this one in BC, too. My favourite PSA is this drug one with a bunch of wire making up a brain, and then the wires get cut in random places by pliers until the 'brain' dies. It was by Concerned Children's Advertisers.

I remember this ad. It used to scare the HELL out of my youngest sister, when we were kids. She'd bolt out of the room, whenever it came on. We always said we'd never smoke when we grew up. Guess what: I have 3 siblings, and we all smoke now. I think that's partly because we come from a family of VERY HEAVY smokers. My dad's a smoker, my grandparents smoked, (both long dead from lung cancer now) all my aunts and uncles, etc. The only one who didn't, was my mom. And she died of cancer. Ironic. :(

Me too. My sister and I both said, when we were kids, we wouldn't smoke when we grew up. Kicker: I've got 3 siblings, and we're all smokers now. : (

Well, pretty creepy find, Retrontario...

"Quick Time" was what this PSA was called by officials...

This wasn't the only PSA from this campaign, there was also one that had a man pour gas all over a car, and using the lighter from his cigarette, blows up the car. That was creepy.

But truly, the most scary was this one where it shows the inside of a chemical plant, and it shows these people jumping into the chemicals, while workers are pouring chemicals into the acidic liquid.
