so do u or anyone know what the difference is between the different (U)rom versions like 1.1 etc ,and what the numbering system means ,i have 1212-sma4(U)rom ,its the only 1 i could get to work,& i had 2 patch it with an .ips to fix the corrupt sav data msg,2 get it 2 work at all,so 1212 is a (U)rom &2161 is a (U)rom too,but i tried 2 patch other (U)sma4 roms &couldnt get them working,only works with 1212,not sure if i tried 2161,but,sram&no frills ips patching didnt work on any rom except1212

yeah well i wish they made more 2-D Games cuase 3-D games get boring after a while and you just wish is there another 2-D and NSMB came but no flying ability who cares? well i don't becuase if you ask me flying with a cape or a racoon was just plain silly well a wing cap could of done but oh well we have to stick to the old ones

there's more to the cape and raccoon tail (and tanooki suit) than just flying. They help you control your jumping/falling. Also, you can perform a close range attack that hurts enemies and opens stuff. And the tanooki suit is awesome - it shows invisible blocks in SMA4 (see my vid of world e-14)

the cape, rip van fish, and the pink ramps were all in SMW. however, in SMW, the ramps only let you run on walls and not upsidedown. also, the [!] switch is unique to sma4, but it is inspired by the SMW P-Switch and the Yoshi's Island red (!) switch

Man, they just don't make mario platformers like they did when SMB3 came out... in my opinion, New super mario bros was a BIG letdown. No flying powerup? no spin jump? come on nintendo...

by the way, to me new super mario brothers for the DS was the biggest letdown ever. THIS, what you are seeing in THIS video is what new super mario bros. should have been like, an awesome game that combines all the elements and power ups from every single 2d mario game ever made... instead we get what? the fire flower and a mushroom that makes you giant???? Please. Nintendo must be running out of ideas.

Everyone loved NSMB so much that I was beginning to think I was the only one that thought the way you do. The graphics were very cool and the new koopa power-up was somewhat cool, but the mini and mega mushrooms were lame, and they weren't even a new idea! Mario Party 4 introduced them long before NSMB came out and they were not even that great back then either in my opinion. And no flying ability? I can't explore the sky!? This isn't 1985 anymore!

No. Nowhere in America anyways. They were not released by Nintendo of America. They were in Japan, but I dunno If they'll work in an actual US e-Reader. I know it'll work in an emulated one- that's how I got this to work.

Ah yes. They're not roms for the card. I think they're like a ".bin" file of something. I think if you look up "SMA4 eCard Dumps" or something you might be able to get them.

Yes. You can also put it in your inventory using a Power Up card, or by winning it in one of Toad's Houses.
