ravens arent really known for there quality so to say. but the rg100 is a very huge step on progress for raven. its clean channel is crisp and clear while the distortion channel, in my opinion, is one of the best on board distortion channels in any solid state half stack. the other guitarist in my band has is and im always fightin with him to use it. lol id get it myself if i wasnt a poor bastard.
no the rg100 is really nice. I was really impressed with it. The onboard effects are decent, if you're looking for a cheap and LOUD amp, go with this. When you run pedals through this thing you get the true signal that the pedal is putting out. Thats my favorite thing about it...
dude man i was gonna ask u about the raven aswell cuz i juss got mine and i love it some ppl say they dont like it but yes its true the pedal does give it the voice and the clean sounds pretty good aswell
@Pearlreference4life I think the amp is crap. I have it and the distortion it garbage. Very thin. The Clean channel distorts at like half volume, which is not a nice sounding thing. I have the clean channel at 1/4 volume, and to get the same volume from the Lead channel I need the knob at a little less then 3/4 volume.
This amp is a piece of crap.
Do yourself a favor and invest in something better then this thing.
no i'm not playing the lead at the beginning, thats why it may sound a little wierd. i'm recording from a mac so thats why it looks leftie...im righty
well it lacks a lot of shit so thats probably why...first, you don't tap that part, those are splits, then, the tuning sounded way off, its DROP B....other than that...and if you're gonna bullshit me, i'll post mine up soon
thats what i said in MY comment, i'll post it soon...there are a lot more important things than covering songs in life, and if you can't take constructive criticisim, then wow
yeah, its not that i talked shit about it, i mean its good, but yeah, i guess i'm just used to the lead. but then again, when i cover songs, i tend to do both sides throughout the enitre song so yah
lefty =)

93!
Most excellent!
How about making a video, reviewing your Raven!
Tons of reviews concerning the 20 and 60 watt combos, but next to nothing on yours.
Please start on that video!
A lot of people need to see what this amp can do.

you actually are playing the lead, i think you're confusing the harmony to be the lead..
