OMG I have trich and came across your videos...when you said that thing about not going out, hiding, and then afraid to go out when it's raining because your secret is exposed...I felt that feeling of fear in my chest! Ahhh! I lok forward to viewing your other videos.
I have always wondered why I have this...is God trying to teach us something? Maybe He is showing us that worldly things and obsession about beauty takes our focus off of Him. I think it's making us stronger. You're right...our values get shifted! Glad I found you sister in Christ!
gddamnit/ i bite my nails and rip my damn hair out!haha soon as it starts to come back- there i go-freakout again and suddenly im like, fuk! again.,...i am so sik of hats- shaving my head or trying to dye my skin with ink...i need some drums like u got(: lol and some pt...then id chill the fk out, ahha- atleast if u do poi u could say u burned some of it off/ sounds better than mine tht looks like brain surgery rightnow(: but dude-u kno tht show"ican make u thin," 2 like reprogram ur brain~ ya(:
I *know* there is an answer for ALL of us regarding trich in God.The question is:"How long & willing can you be patient in hearing how God speaks into your heart the direction and path to wellness in trich?" The answers we WANT are not always what he places before your heart for your eyes to see & brain to interpret. But,what he gives will ultimately lead you to freedom:freedom from that *hold* that trich has upon our life perceptions/hearts/minds.You just have to be openminded in prayers U seek!
I have found myself to be embarressed even before God- when praying about my trich; as if He didn't know what I was doing- but you are right, we need to confront God with our "yoke of bondage" and ask Him on a daily basis to set us free! I feel like trich is a form of bondage- designed by the enemy to prohibit us from being all that we know we could be- but when you reach the point of "acceptance" and say "I'm going to be all that I can w or w/out the trich"- then the devil loses His grip on us
It breaks my heart. My daughter started out bitting her nails down to the quick when she was about six. Then it escalated to picking at sores.
