No I didn't use anything on the twists, I just twisted them all the way to the end and then I dip them in hot water. Usually is the water is hot enough it will seal them and they won't come apart

I believe it only comes in one length i think it was 48" , all I did was take the hair and cut it in half at the bend then I took the hair piece I was twisting with and folded it in half

I did mine Back in June and they initially were tight and cute. After 2 weeks though they were horrible. I made them med to thick and the ends were curled weird. however my question is how were they after a couple of weeks and what products did you use. I just used Beeswax and gel. My hair didn't flake or anything. I am also going natural

I am usually able to keep my twists in for about 3-5 months... I sleep with a little satin cap on my head too. Do you tie your head at night? or were you washing them? that may have caused it. When I wash mine I usually shampoo and condition my scalp then rinse the twists.

I tie it at night with a satin scarf also. I think it was the hair i used. Did you comb the hair through before braiding it in or left it alone? I am going to put them in again in two weeks cause I am transitioning to natural and my hair looks awful LOL. So I am going to try this again. Maybe use some other kind of hair. or some other method...IDK

I try to use the smallest rods possible, I forgot what size exactly but its pretty small... they aren't the smallest ones but more like the second to smallest ones... lol hope that helps

Now I really like yours. I was wondering if I could do the kinky twists without using the extension hair? My 7 yr old has very long hair but it tangles very easily when braided but I want her to wear the twist styles, because it's so easy and cute.

Yea, you can do twists without the extension hair, if you twists them the same way but tighter they will stay, just use a lil gel on them then sit under the dryer

How much does she charge for hers? they are really easy to maintain and I wash them occassionally, the only time I think they pull your hair out is when you do not retouch them around the edges other than that if you keep them up and fresh they can last for a really long time ...good luck with your twists *_*
