I'm running Crysis at maximum smootly with a $500 rig. I just hate how that video take people for retards and tell them that you absolutely need to spend 2k dollars to run that game.
i ran this game with max settings with pentium 4 661 (3ghz single core) 2 gb RAM and ati x1950pro. Ran this game on quad core phenom with hd5850 radeon and 10 gb RAM... if game is shit - graphics doesn't matter.

@TheDiamond123123 - Yes, I agree. Actually, my first card was a 5700fx. Which was a good little card for the time. The only thing i have against Nvidia is their marketing tactics. I'm a big fan of open source coding, and really don't like the whole 'The way it's meant to be played' effort. And Physx as well. It would be nice to see more collaboration between green and red. Maybe a bit more support for OpenGL...
yeah definetely, I agree. And better pricing ranges in general.. nvidia has improved that a little but they are still very expensive. For example when geforce8 serie came, the GTX cost over 700 bucks, wtf! But that was because 2006 was the revolution in graphics, no graphic card before that could approach fear or doom3 without droping below 40 frames... now they got over 100 :P. After 2006 it was gravey for pc gamers (finally).

It's an official frame rate comparison between the two cards :D, 6990 is a "CLEAR" winner, no doubt about that. Every single 3dcard comparison chart agrees with me. On the side most of the comparison charts make jokes of gef590 lowsy performance in modern market, just saying.
I was playing it with just 768mb Nvidia GTX460, which allowed for settings on medium to high with no AA, but run dual GTX469s I can run settings on highest along with 16XQ AA without any frame issue rate. Also running a 3.2GHz 1090T Phenom IIX4 processor and 8GB corsair dominator RAM. Rig runs like a fkn champ

the new ATi 6990 is stronger than the new Geforce 590... According to guru3d.com it got almost 10 frames more on avarage playing crysis Warhead... ATi has actually lead the graphic technology for couple of years with performance and along their better prices.
I t hink ati's and nvidias differences in oppinions have narrowed down to a VERY narrow corridor which I can only see in fanboyism at this point but nothing else... It's time to unite!

@TheDiamond123123 - Yes, I agree. Actually, my first card was a 5700fx. Which was a good little card for the time. The only thing i have against Nvidia is their marketing tactics. I'm a big fan of open source coding, and really don't like the whole 'The way it's meant to be played' effort. And Physx as well. It would be nice to see more collaboration between green and red. Maybe a bit more support for OpenGL...

yeah definetely, I agree. And better pricing ranges in general.. nvidia has improved that a little but they are still very expensive. For example when geforce8 serie came, the GTX cost over 700 bucks, wtf! But that was because 2006 was the revolution in graphics, no graphic card before that could approach fear or doom3 without droping below 40 frames... now they got over 100 :P. After 2006 it was gravey for pc gamers (finally).
a shame it's console era now with all this good stuff

@TheDiamond123123 not really I agree with 6990 being better or whatever but its like 1-2 frames more or less...the gpus have different clocks depending on the manufacturers in the country :P,either ways I agree they should unite and make a great gpu...because ati is lacking in some coding and nvidia is lacking in making the top graphic cards..

It's an official frame rate comparison between the two cards :D, 6990 is a "CLEAR" winner, no doubt about that. Every single 3dcard comparison chart agrees with me. On the side most of the comparison charts make jokes of gef590 lowsy performance in modern market, just saying.

haha, thats a pretty funny video.
I was playing it with just 768mb Nvidia GTX460, which allowed for settings on medium to high with no AA, but run dual GTX469s I can run settings on highest along with 16XQ AA without any frame issue rate. Also running a 3.2GHz 1090T Phenom IIX4 processor and 8GB corsair dominator RAM. Rig runs like a fkn champ
