Currently saving for a proper editing programme and a laptop to run it, so here's hoping I can wrap my head around it and put up something a bit cleaner once I do!

funny (and it's weird me saying this, cos I'm English! :P) that so many Americans lover Firefly to bits and hate the Alliance, and yet the whole war background story was based around the American Civil War, with Mal and his Independents representing the south side ....

Firefly was and always will be the most epic story ever told!
@FireflyFanatic3 Well it's based on it, but the independents/browncoats are fighting against being put under one government so they can be free on their planets, while the south fought against their right to hold slaves being taken away(against the union they agreed to be apart of 80 years prior). Because the browncoats of firefly are fighting for independence and freedom(without slavery attached at all) we can root for them.
@ArtisticSpaz I see what you mean, and I'm not really taking sides, and I don't pretend to be an expert, but can you think of any war where it's completely decided that the winning side was the bad side? Cos history is written by the winners, so we're going to be taught to believe the war we won was right, and we were the 'goodies' in it all.
@FireflyFanatic3 Yes but with certain wars, the american civil war and World War 2 for example, we can see one side as better than the other. That doesn't mean the other side was all pure and good and did nothing bad, but some wars one side is most certainly better than the other.
I can think of wars where the "good" side is controversial, such as the American Mexican war and American Native American war. I would argue that America was the "bad" side in those. Tho most wars are grey area.
This is extremely well-made, great job! Great selection of clips and quotes, and the song is perfect as well. I'd suggest raising the music volume just a little next time. The end was hilarious. :)
